I don't recall any Corvette driver wanting to race me in my Hellcat. There was an occasional Mustang. And one Lexus something or other. But most often it was another Challenger or Charger driver that tried to goad me into some kind of race. In some cases I suspected the car was not stock. Mod'd or stock I never raced.

Oh for the age of the driver I seldom managed to get a good look. Sometimes because of tinted windows but most often I felt it better to keep my eyes on the road because of the traffic density. But the few I did see I'd estimate were in their late 20s early 30s to maybe into their 50s.

Added: The above was for my Hellcat when I owned/drove it in CA. Shortly after I moved to AR I traded in the Hellcat for a new Scat Pack.

Here again with the Scat Pack no Corvette drivers wanting to race me but a number of Mustang drivers appear interested in a race. While Corvettes are rather common here Mustangs are quite numerous here. 'course, CA or AR Hellcat or Scat Pack I don't race.

After driving my Hellcat for about 7 months now....I've learned 2 things.....Every Mustang/Corvette driver that wants to race looks like their 14 and 80...maybe its just me
Lol…yeah you’ll have to develop a filter/callus for those situations as it will never end! more than half will be kids all others will be middle aged D’bags in euro trash and earth movers, at the end of the day it’s all about your reaction..moreover dealing with undeveloped brains on the street is definitely one big drawback of these cars and can get annoying real fast but still….prerequisite

I have a neighbor who has a C8 that's raced my Hellcat numerous times. He is -NOT- a performance driver... total rookie coming from 4-door German sedans of the non-M variety. Before I sold my Hellcat, he never beat it with his C8. That should not be, but the driver matters.

My issue in traffic was mostly from the Subaru WRX guys, Nissan Zs, and the occasional EcoBoost Mustang. Most GTs I saw in the wild seemingly ignored me, however the kids in their 300hp cars would drive their beaters to the edge of their life to try and keep up with the Hellcat.

The worst was a Subaru WRX... older model, unsure of the year. He kept rocketing up to my window to rev his car so I could hear his blow-off valve. I caught him at a light on a 55mph road. When it turned green, I ran it through about 60mph and put 2 cars on him. He ended up passing me after I slowed down, then he slowed to match and kept trying to count down a rolling start. I waved him off. Eventually, he went on a 3-2-1 and it looked like he let it eat until about 100mph... he was very far up ahead, and he went right past a Florida State Trooper and they yanked him off the highway.

I never, ever play around on the street in traffic. I like to have some fun, but I will never run the car at double the speed limit on a crowded road in the middle of lunch hour. Hellcats bring out the bad in a lot of drivers. A Hellcat owner has to realize that for many people, seeing a Hellcat on the road is not much different than seeing a Lambo, so be prepared for the temptations of others.

The Subaru idiots are the number one offenders with me. I've had multiple experiences like Xylander described. The ridiculous fart can equipped hood rats driven by 5 year olds always seem to want to prove something. Pass.

Sterotypes cut both ways.

Have you considered what every Mopar driver looks like to Mustang owners?

Yeah there’s nothing more annoying then the fart can sound, I’ve noticed the Subaru’s would rather hang on my quarter then come up window to window

San Diego area (against my GTO) were Subarus and Corvette drivers (stereotypical Vette owner - gray hair (or no hair at all), over 55 years old, and trophy queen arm hangers in her low 20s)

I suspect the Hellcat will be just as entertaining.
