does anyone know if there were any 6 speed challengers built in 2008. I have a line on one with 900 miles. I know the guy who bought it and hes had it since 2008. he wants to sell it and it has a 6 speed manual in it. claims 300 were built but I was under the understanding all 2008's were auto's

Yep, all '08 Chally's were autos. In '08 there were only 3 options and they only came in 3 colors. The colors were orange, black and silver. The options were sunroof, nav and F1 tires. My silver '08 Chally is in my driveway right now.

There was what they called the "Challenger in White" model. It was a stripped down car built for the race track. Don Garlits has one. I don't know how it was equipped.

I know I ordered one the first day too. also silver. trying to save my dad some money. don't want him overpaying on a car. this guy says it came from the factory. only thing I can think of is its a 2009 not a 2008.
