My 2015 charger I just bought starts right up when it's cold but if I drive it and let it sit for an hour or more it takes about 3 seconds until it fires up. Seems like a fuel pressure issue but I don't want to throw a 1000 pump at it if that's not the cause. I have not hooked a fuel pressure gauge to it yet to see if it's bleeding pressure or no pressure on crank. Anyone else experience this?

The ECU used the coolant temp sensor signal to determine fuel requirements. This is where I would start....

What is the Fuel Pressure in the Fuel Rail when it won't start? Get a fuel pressure gauge attached to the rail and leave it.

From cold engine and gauge attached, watch the gauge & start the engine & note pressure. Simulate the drive, the shutoff, the wait. Before starting, open the hood and note fuel pressure. Then start the engine while watching the fuel pressure. This is a box you should check.

Videos would be great.

Let us know....

So went to hook up the fuel pressure gauge and of course, mine is a 15 and doesn't have a service port on the rail. So, no worries I have a MAC master fuel injection set with 50+ fittings and adapters....nope hellcat inlet line must be 7/16 or larger as the set didn't have the right adapter. Called my dodge dealer and they do not have the hellcat fuel line service kit. Grrrrrrrrr. Anyone know where I can get the adapter or at least what size that fuel line is?
