I have a VIN that I received about 40 days ago and my Challenger is D1 and scheduled to be built next week (hopefully it doesn't slip again). I am just wondering how many folks are in the same situation and how long it is taking from build to delivery. Also curious if we will get any of the uConnect and SW updates for 2016 even though its a '15 model year. Any info would be helpful...thanks.

Mine went to d1 status on 8-20-15. Estimated ship date 9-15-15. In 2015 you had the standard stereo or upgrade to the 8.4 u connect system. So if you picked that upgrade it's the same. Software update unsure if the late models will get it.

3 weeks to go before end of scheduled production .

It has been posted by RS that 2016 Software upgrades will only work on 2016 radios. No backwards compatibility. You could get a 2016 radio, if you have the last 2015 built and they ran out of radios......nbl *not bloody likely

I have had a vin since June 9th went D1 on Aug 12th was going to be built this week of Aug 24th now SRT says the week of Sept 7th. I got all exited for nothing if anything this whole process teaches patience.

I ordered mine the last week of 2014 (A8, Phantom)...and it just went to JS status. Hopefully it will be worth the wait! (MSRP!)
