Hey Baabootoo have you done the recall. The cold start is the same with high idle then back down to under 1000 rpm . It sou ds smoother less cammy sounding eve n if aev s are open at start it doesnt have that roar agressive sound best i can describe it. Ive owned the car since new . It just sounds quiter but seems to run fine m6 . Did it get a little detune iam starting wonder. But scince cats got changed there probaly quite defferent inside with more restrictions maybe theres some kind of cone in there it could definitely change overall sound of exghast. Its probaly not detuned . I though it sounded better before recall . Ill get use to it . it was for emissions . i just wish when they send you all these recall papers they let you now what to expect after its done. I held of since last year . Does any one else think there hellcat sounds quieter since recall.
Hey Baabootoo had my m6 hellcat out today took to my special place made some good noise 1 2 3 4 4500 +grand shifts .it ran strong and sounded crisp It sounded pretty normal. This was my 4th ride since recall .when i cold started today didnt sound bad.not exactley as before but close. I have to assume cats are a bit different inside so things sound little different . But it actually doesn't sound bad at all. Maybe? Cats need to be broken in a bit? But car still runs like a bad boy .no power loss here.on a side note took demon out twice today and on shut down it to makes the pppssssttt sound. So assume redeyes andsuper stocks do to.i dont rember my 2016 doing it but i never listened. I know couple guys with 2015 and 16 hellcats that have not done recall ill have to see if they do it before they get it done.
