My front brakes are smoking after brake pads replacement at high speed and smell like burn ?
Not uncommon for them to smell. Smoking isn’t necessarily normal but could just be some crap on the pads/rotors that wasn’t cleaned off during the install now burning off. Should be very temporary and if it goes away after a little bit of driving, I wouldn’t worry about it.

Who did the work? Did you bed them properly after the install or did they?

Oh alright what pad you think I should get
I don’t track my car like that, so I don’t want to speak on that. I’ll leave it to guys like @TrackDay or @DGatzby to give some pointers, sure there are plenty of others on here as well with experience.

If you read the side of that box that talks about low noise/low dust, those are the exact opposite qualities of a good track pad haha. Luckily they’re pretty easy to swap in and out, some guys will swap their pads for a track day and then swap back to a nice street pad like yours when they’re done.

Duralast products are not the best for a performance vehicle, fine for a Honda civic but on a Hellcat you want a more reputable brand, IMHO. Look at stock, Stoptech, EBC or NRS pads. Love the NRS pads.

Yeah I get you thanks tho now I know what to get good thing I only had them for two days
Keep in mind a good track pad will not be a good pad for daily driver. Lots of noise and dust.

Keep the ones you have for daily driving and just swap in some track pads when you do a track day. Or, if you don’t daily your Hellcat, just leave the track pads on. Prepare for more noise and dust though, that’s what comes with a high performance pad.

We BOTH use Hawk DTC -70’s. TD is more aggressive with his braking than me. But these are very good for the track. Works for us and lots of others we know.
