Hello :),

After the last go around I had that some of you read about in the, (Black Listed Dealer) thread a few days ago.
Click on link below,
http://www.hellcat.org/threads/black-list-of-dealers.13662/page-2#post-2607689

It was suggested that I not give up and get an attitude.
Well, I damn sure had (is the key word) a "Negative" Attitude but it had nothing to do with the Hellcat cars.
That included several of my closer buddies and my wife of plus 35-years.
So, I got right back on the computer Researching Challenger Hellcats.

Here is what finally did take place with me Searching on the internet using all the different Search Engines like, Car Gurus, Cars.com, Autotrader, etc.
Well I never really went beyond the 2016 Challenger Hellcats within 500-Miles of my Zip-Code.
I did look a few times in the past at the 2017 Challenger Hellcats but the pricing was BEYOND this Fellow's Budget.
(With the existing 2008 Bullitt Mustang at Gateway Classic Cars in Nashville on Consignment)
Guys, not one of the Rich & Famous on this end I can assure you fellows & Linda.
(Linda I read what you have to say so when I say, fellows, I have Not-Over-Looked-You).

Well here is what I did do the other evening as I changed my Searching to the 2017 Challenger Hellcats.
As I went through the different search engines I was on one and as I rolled the pages down guess what I found ???
A 2017 New, Yellow Jacket Exterior, Black Interior, A8, with Sunroof the exact options I wanted !!!
I was thankful it did not have the Summer Performance Tires, Satin Finish Hood.
I'm not racing it so the All Season Tires are exactly what in my case I really wanted.
Also, I'm going to have the Hood Wrapped in the Satin Finish so it would be crazy to pay the $1,995.00 and then pay to have it Wrapped to Protect the Factory Finish.
This way I do it from the Beginning the way I want it.

Oh, for those that enjoy reading how transactions go when you're dealing with a Professional Salesman and Management;
It took like maybe 30-Minutes from Start-to-Finish for this Transaction.
Then of course following up with sending information for acquiring the loan etc.
BTW, I got a Lower-Rate from the Dealer than my own, Bank-of-America that we have been with for plus 40 yrs.
The agreement was they would sell the Challenger Hellcat to me for my Bid if I would commit to letting them run the Loan.
They also use Bank-of-America ...........
The salesman I'm working with is CJ and he is definitely on Top of His Game, guys.
Let me share you an example:
I mentioned to him I'd like to see some pictures of it as it sat right now at the dealership.
He had my cell phone # of course.
Minutes after the transaction had taken place my Cell Phone, Lit-Up !!!
He did not wait until the next day, he went outside and did it right then and they were now Closed.
(I called 17-Minutes before they Closed)
There was not one single thing that I asked CJ about or to do that it was not done. :D
The reason I chose to call them even though I saw they were almost ready to close is I was NOT going to take any chances on this one getting away.
It is one of my All-Time-Favorite colors.
I had a S/C Saleen in it, Custom ordered Vette in it, Audi S-4 Custom ordered in it as some immediate examples.
And after talking with CJ it was what guys (and Linda) ???
Brand New, Non-Molested, with a whopping 33-Miles and Approximately 5-months old.

I got Cathy (Wife) to come over and look at it and she said, perfect, see it was worth waiting.
As some of the people said to you, the other Dealership & New Hellcat Owner did you a Favor Terry you'll find the one you really want.

So, people, sometimes things do work out for us and this is an example of that very thing.
That's why I'm taking the time to share all this with you.
Especially the ones of you like me that are doing your Research for the Right Hellcat !!!

Time for the pictures that were sent to me.
Before that I almost forgot one very important thing to be sure to mention.

I have a very close friend in Dublin, Ohio which as it turned out is like a 25-minute drive to Bob-Caldwell Chrysler.
She, Mickey (Mick) left work and actually went over and met CJ and checked out the Hellcat for me yesterday.
She just happens to be the President of UNIVENTURE an International Company with multiple locations.
So for her to just jump up and go do this for me is actually a (Very-Big-Deal).
And also took pictures that will be below along with CJ's pictures from the night before.
Mickey called me and said the Hellcat is Bad-Ass for sure as she is a Car Gal .........
I'm glad I remembered to mention this for a couple of reasons.

1st of course to mention that Mickey was nice enough to do that and also took her Daughter with her.
(Her Daughter works for Univenture)

The other reason is to say to you that like I'm doing will maybe purchase from Out-of-State ???
Try your best to locate someone you can Trust to go check it out in person for you.
Then you can know that all is as it's supposed to be before you drive or fly to another State.
Here are a lot of pictures and in my case I don't mind sharing even the Purchase Agreement.
I'm doing that so you that are still Searching can see Facts {Not-Opinions} guys.

I could NOT locate a Bright Yellow Hellcat T-Shirt on such short notice but this will do. LOL !!!

Below is CJ my Sales-Guy and he is the Real-Deal !!!

Mickey on the Left & Lindsey on her Right.

Are these the "Right Covers" on the Pedals in the below picture ???

CJ guys took these at night for me and they were already CLOSED !!!
(He actually took a lot more pictures but they were very much like the ones above I posted)

Yes, these are Definitely going to be installed once I get it back home and Registered.
Also the, Satin-Finish, Wrapped Hood.

I consider myself a very-very Lucky fellow guys & Linda.
At 72-yrs old this will more than likely be my last, Performance Machine !!!

I hope the information above might possibly help those still Researching and those that will be in the future.

Congrats on your stunning looking 17 Hellcat Challenger. Awesome Hellcat at an awesome price ! Your pedal covers are correct. Both you and Cathy enjoy your new ride and be safe.
I'm glad you caught the question I asked regarding the (Covers). :)
Just trying to make sure as once I leave Columbus, Ohio I doubt I'll be cruising back there in the near future.

:D :D :D

Congrats on that gorgeous Yellow Jacket Challenger and yes it is spectacular in person. Some bias is obviously involved. Lol.

Hope you and Cathy have memorable moments together. Everything in life happens for a reason. And you are living proof of that. Drive safe and cheers!!!

And yes the Satin wrapped Hood is a must. It will lend tons of character to the car and break the monotony of yellow. Try to find an installer who stocks 3m 1080 Satin. That’s the one i used on my previous Torred Challenger and is universally recommended.

That will take place in the very near future.

Vinny will be taking care of that as we have already discussed it.

I appreciate your Kind-Words buddy. :)

Cathy is the real reason I could do this as she said I want you to get the one you really want.
I saw the 2017 Yellow Jacket listing and showed it to her and she said, call them right now. :D

Congrats! Nice looking ride! Hope you don't encounter any bad weather and get you and that Hellcat home safely. Looking forward to seeing more pics.
Frank,

We just checked the weather for Friday and it is going to be COLD but No-Snow.
So, I hope since everything is already done including my State Farm Insurance contacting them with the nedded/required information.
It will be a minimum of time so I can get on the road for home, quick.
Have to do the required Break-in so can't just jump on the interstate and haul ass. LOL !!!
Going to take time for me to come home.

If it gets to late or I get sleepy I'll just pick a hotel and spend the night.
Then get up and continue on in the morning.

This is going to be interesting as I personally never have even sat in a Hellcat much less driven one. o_O
