Hello,

Longtime lurker and currently a 99 Viper owner. Doing some research on Hellcat Widebody M6 cars as I’m finally in a position to buy.

Hoping PLMCRZY is ok as his email no longer works.

I’m looking for what the subject line says. Interested to see the take rates on all options 2019-2021 but I’m specifically interested in the totals for each color with the M6 and WB on Hellcats.

Especially 2019 Sublime Challenger Hellcat WB M6 if anyone has already received those numbers.

I’ve been keeping an eye out and I’ve only seen a handful come up for sale used so I’m guessing it’s extremely rare and most that I’ve seen have had houndstooth seats which I would not want.

Happy to pay for the info!

Im planning to order a last model year M6 Hellcat Widebody, most likely in F8 or Black, unless sublime comes back before then. Or possibly a 2019 in Sublime HC WB M6 if Stellantis cuts the M6 production without a proper announcement before it becomes impossible to order. I’d really like to order mine new though to get it exactly the way I want. As with the Viper this is a car that I never intend to sell.

The only reason I’m not ordering a 2022 is that I’m holding out hope that Sublime may become available again before this generation of Challenger is over and on the very off chance that the Redeye motor becomes available with an M6. Don’t worry I’m not going to hold my breath on either 😀

Wow is that really true?

I heard the autos were coming first. At least 2022 Stellantis has already announced that there will be M6s. But I guess that was true for 2021…..

Yep lots of disappointed M6 people here have been waiting. And you're right, just because Stellantis (ew lol) says it doesn't mean they have it figured out yet. They had production issues and now it just never happened I guess. For your sake I hope they get it together.

I won’t be fully disappointed if I have to hunt to buy a 2019 sublime. But I have never bought a new car before and I’m not sure if I ever would again if this one does not come to fruition. The last car that was perfect to me was the 2016/17 Viper ACRE but I couldn’t afford it then either.

Thank you for the kind words and the information.

im kicking myself everytime I see the last gen viper used car prices now. I thought it was expensive when it first came out. Still happy with my hellcat though and a much more practical car for family rides, even though not my daily.

Dont feel bad. It’s the entire used car market, not just Vipers. Def a seller's market currently but in another year or two it will level out again once chip production and new car production ramp up again. This certainly doesnt represent a permanent market future.

You can email Dodge customer support with your VIN and they will give you the production details and rarity for your car. They got me mine within 24 hours, so you don't have to wait very long. I recommend using the chat feature to do the request. Mine looks like this:

Thank you for contacting Dodge.
VIN: 2C3CDZC9XLH182391
According to our records, there were 54 Dodge Challenger SRT Hellcat units built in Hellraisin paint for the 2020 model year, of those, there were 2 units equipped with the Painted Black Satin Graphics Package. One was a widebody, the other is your standard body vehicle.
According to our records, there was 1 Dodge Challenger SRT Hellcat unit built in Hellraisin paint and equipped with Black Hellcat Logo Laguna Leather Seats, Plus Package, Driver Convenience Group, Harman Kardon Audio Group with Subwoofer, Laguna Leather Package, 8-Speed Automatic HP90 Transmission, 6.2L Supercharged HEMI V8 SRT Engine, Painted Black Satin Graphics Package, Uconnect 4C Navigation Radio with 8.4 Display and 20X9.5 SRT Low Gloss Black Performance Wheels for the 2020 model year.
Sincerely,
Joe

I recently located the other widebody in Rhode Island. A bit of oddity on this car, as it is most assuredly a Redeye and not a standard SRT Hellcat (even though the dealership it is sitting at lists it as an "SRT Hellcat," it is VIN'd and has badges for Redeye). This car is going to be exceedingly rare one day (well, it is now). It has every single option you can get on a Redeye, to include the carbon fiber and brass monkey package (with brass colored Redeye logos). Thus, the "other" Hellraisin/Satin car is not a standard Hellcat, but a fully tilted WBRE that's been sitting at the dealership since April of 2020. It has 404 miles on it and is classed as used (likely a dealer promo/dealer used car). I'm currently engaging with them to see if they'll come down to semi reality, as I would -LOVE- to have both of these cars. As-is, I could just about get a pristine Demon for the price they're asking.

While I agree prices will hopefully come down, unless this really is just rapid inflation, I don’t think the ACREs will ever be cheaper than when they were new. They went up in value immediately. I think the 16/17 ACRE, 19 Corvette ZR1 and the 05/06 Ford GT will go down as the pinnacle of analogue American sports/supercars.

Can anyone run any VIN or do they make you prove to be the owner of the VIN?

I know you want sublime. But if you are interested in White Knuckle m6 pm me.
Thanks but I’ve narrowed myself down to Sublime if used (unless it comes back). F8 with carbon stripes or Pitch Black no strips if new.

Nothing against WhiteKnuckle. I do love vanishing point! Honestly I don’t think there’s a bad color on them.

Yes sir, although you posted this some time ago it is absolutely the 3 cars that hold that theory as fact.
