2020 Dodge Challenger Hellcat upgrades?

Hey guys, if anyone knows or has heard about the Hellcat design for 2020, if Dodge is planning to change the present design (exterior/interior), because I love this design (although I prefer previous hood design 2015-2018) but I want to wait a year more to buy a hellcat, but always if they don't change the exterior/interior design, and also, if there is any performance improvements. Thoughts please... What do you know and what do you recommend?

I appreciate it!!!

My money is on a refresh. The current platform is going away 2023/4-ish. I think they will almost definitely throw in a refresh for 2020. Just makes sense due to it being an anniversary year combined with the fact that this interior and exterior has been here for five model years now. Cant see them waiting much longer if they want to recoup the investment of a refresh by then.
I'm hoping for a forward cam, a completely different uconnect head unit (think 2019 Ram), and a massaging of the exterior, but not radically different (think 2015 refresh). Basic platform staying the same.

Why mess with perfection.Just more power like the 426 on the fenders.Put the Hellephant blower on the Redeye and the Redeye blower on the Hellcat and a Widebody 1320. There I fixed it for 2020
I dont think it's quite perfection yet. These cars are falling behind in the tech goodies dept. The uconnect absolutely needs an overhaul. So full of glitches. ridiculous. I know I know i Know - everyone just listens to their superchargers. I get it. But still, the backup cam is pretty useless, the display freezes up on a ton of them, the speed sensitive volume cannot be turned off, - plenty of non perfection lol. And who wouldn't want a forward facing cam for the parking curbs? These cars def need one. When a $25k Sentra can be had with one - cmon.
I will say they've nailed it with the current interior and exterior. Cant stand the WB wheels but those can be changed out. Not sure how it could get better. Maybe just different, but certainly not better.
Something mechanical has to be coming too. Can't wait.

Anyone?
Well The Charger widebody Redeye that I felt sure (well hoping) would be released...will not come to pass in the 2020 line up...although 2nd party hearsay ...its pretty reliable..so not interested in any challenger refresh..like my Demon and cat just the way they are...

Same platform through 2023 according to RS about a year ago or so. That puts the redo at 2024-ish. I think a refresh would be coming before that though.

If you want the factory to strip a car for weight,,, purchase a viper from the past I dated a gal with one and it was striped from the factory. After burning my leg on the exhaust, never got back in. I have run up on some curbs and the front spoiler cleared by a 1/4 of an inch. If I did that with the vette, it would have scraped, but this one clears, close. I think the interior is great but a bit more HP.

The 2019 head unit is night and day better than the 2015. My performance pages have NOT failed me yet, and it loads way faster. The optional items like the chiller circuit and the cool down feature have been on the money each time I have tried them. The '15 performance pages would work about 25% of the time. That NEVER included when I really needed the info on the track.

Now if CarPlay could work without authorizing Apple and Siri to digest everything on my phone that is private, it would be ok. Until then, I'll go without and just ***** about it in the public arena.

put manual windows and locks no power seat . Pull some weight out of this car.
I just saw some information on this a few weeks ago. The power windows and locks are lighter than the mechanical linkage it replaced. Electronics now are so advanced with plastic and wire matrix. Going back to mechanical linkage would actually increase weight.

Agree. Even back in the day they were almost the same, maybe added 4 lbs total for power windows. I'll keep my power!
