Seriously? How many more ways can FCA mix & match existing parts/decals from other cars to make more "special edition" cars? The "extra" HP should be standard on all '20 Charger HCs too.
It's all about the $$$$$

True. I'm sure they'll find buyers for all 501. It's just that reusing the stickers and interior from a lower model (mine) that's already 3 years old strikes me as extremely lazy on their part. At least give it a unique wheels design to set it apart!

Dodge should've put the 797hp engine in it - that would have made it more "standout" ……. also 3:09 gears would have been a big help.

Isn't a year late?
2020-1969=51
Actually the Charger has been around since mid 60's...1966 is the 1st year if memory serves me correctly, making 2020 54years

I thought the increase from 707 to 717 was from the new hood/intake design on the Challengers?
Maybe on Challenger it was and this just shows there's more in it, Challenger might go to 727 hp.

The new hood apparently made it necessary to recalibrate, which in turn gave the extra ponies. I guess they dont actually need the hood lol.

The Dodge Charger first appeared as a show car in 1964; from 1965 to 1967, sleek, low production Chargers based on the Dodge Coronet were sold, with limited success. The Daytona was a one year only car introduced in the summer of 69 as a 1969 model year car. My math of a 50th year anniversary car should be model year 2019...not 2020. 2020-1969 is 51 years. Some fuzzy math going on there at FCA.
