That is not normal. Neither of my Hellcats did that. When they searched for my front end rattle, it turned out to be a bushing that was in the lower control arm that when the car was on a lift, you couldn't make it happen.
Finally got my car back after a month sitting at the dealership. I was in no hurry because I picked up the SS when I dropped off the Charger WB392 for service. No one can find help these days. Thanks for letting me know. Please let me know what they diagnose yours as and what they do to fix it and how it goes. Mine is in Wednesday So I will update as well. But now that I know it isnt the strut assembly I bet im out another 15 days from Wednesday waiting on parts if it is the control arm or something.
I will say as I have searched the internet on this issue, it seems to always be a 2020. Wonder why. Thanks all I hope we all fix this.
I am jealous yours is fixed but I am glad for you. I continued to be amazed how bad these dealers are considering I am on my second dealer and like 4 service visits and 2 months. Told me to wait 10 days while they filed a claim with dodge and so I did (whats another 10 days after 2 crappy months) and when i called them today I could tell they were just hoping I forgot about it. I guess I will go to my 3rd dealership and open my own claim but I think this has bothered me so much I will probably just eat the first year depreciation as painful as that is for only getting 2500 miles on it and trade it in to a ZL1 or something. It just really has burned me on dodge. This is why I sold my SRT10 Truck years ago, cant believe this many years later I still can hardly find a dodge dealer that can handle anything but an oil change. Finally got my car back after a month sitting at the dealership. The drivers side rear shock some how came loose. No more rattle/squeak!! My issue was something very simple to fix. More than likely the shock was not torqued correctly at the factory.
Open a case with @DodgeCares for assistance. Get an area manager involved. It probably is the same person depending on your locality. If you can't make progress there, then I would email the Executives and I could help you there. They would assign you an Executive manager to assist at that point.I am jealous yours is fixed but I am glad for you. I guess I am picky for not wanting my brand new 75k car to squeak constantly to the point i can hear it over a phone call in my car. I know its probably my fault for not opening my own claim sooner but my dealer told me not to do it and now I see why. They just didn't want dodge to hound them probably.
I will do so. Thanks for listening to me gripe everyone just makes me mad because I love the car. Thank you everyone.Open a case with @DodgeCares for assistance. Get an area manager involved. No worries. Unfortunately, this is not something new. It seems to be difficult to find a good dealer. If you don't keep at them, they will let your case disappear. I would give DodgeCares and the area manager a couple of weeks to make progress. If nothing by then, I would go ahead and email the execs. Your email would be read but handled by their managers. Things generally will move at that point. That is my experience and not hearsay from anyone else.
