Hi guys, I had my Cat dyno'd yesterday just to get some numbers. It's a stock 2021 (with a K&N CAI) no other mods except a catch can. I know this thing pulls hard, but I wasn't expecting these numbers. Two pulls, 10 minutes between runs. Couldn't be happier with the results. First run 679hp and second run 695hp!

695 rwhp on a stock HC? You might have the most powerful stock HC Ever

Crazy numbers. The second run was done about 15 minutes after the first. Totally stock except for the CAI. I always run the 93 octane gas. That's about it. The shop where I went works exclusively on the modern hemis. They have put alot of Hellcats on the dyno. They had two bone stock cars hit the 700hp mark. They ran a 21 RedEye charger that morning and it pulled 713hp.

There is your problem. The runs need too be in 6th gear otherwise you'll get a inflated number. My guess you're realistically around the 630-640rwhp mark.

Also, the intake won't make any power on its own. You'll need to properly tune for it.

Probably right, but I like the numbers I got, lol!

Yep, it will be slower. Don’t mess with a factory unicorn.
No plans to mod it. The intake was installed for the supercharger whine. I'm completely satisfied with the car as is.

I remember when I was tuning Mustangs, I could get 10-20 points higher if I moved the laptop to a different spot in the shop ;) Dyno latency is definitely a thing.

My car was dyno'd in 5th gear because the dyno operator didn't want to go over 180 MPH which would have happened with a full pull in 6th. He did a pull in 5th gear then did one in 6th. My A8 car put down 682 RWHP in 5th gear and was headed for 635-640 RWHP in 6th gear before he shut it down at 180-ish MPH.

So in my experience, I would say you need to subtract about 45 RWHP when doing a dyno run in 5th gear with a stock Hellcat.

I have a 2018 Trackhawk with these basic mods: lighter wheels, incognito pulley, supercharger spacers, lowering springs, diff brace, aftermarket CAI and aftermarket exhaust on the stock tune and I was wondering would it be worth it and is it safe to put it on a dyno just to see how much horsepower it has?

Would it be worth it? That is totally up to you. If you want to know just for a conversation piece or simply to have dyno numbers for if you ever decide to sell it. Would it be safe? Really no difference running it on the dyno compared to running it on the street. If your tune is safe you’re all good.

I put my car on the dyno for fun. I have no intentions of modding it beyond the CAI. my shop told me they run all the A8 cars in 5th. The car did produce 695hp. What the parameters were are not important to me. Those numbers were created at some point along that rpm range. So I'll stick to my 695hp number! Just a conversation topic. Besides, those are pretty good bragging numbers...
