My sincere apologies if this has been asked before. I would love a tailpipe that eliminates the rear can, canI use the stock tips, and has a place to bolt the silly exhaust valves so they can do their thing and not actually be inside the pipe. Kind of like a Blastin Bobs thing but much better. Anyone see anything close? Thanks team!

I installed a Borla ATAK mid summer last year and its close to what your looking for. The mufflers are ridiculously small. Could almost classify them as resonators. The factory resonators get deleted, and I bought the version(they make 2) that has mounts for the factory valve actuators, but there are no valves in the pipe. Works flawless. No cel codes because the car is still going through its normal motions as if the flaps were in the pipe...the car sounds beastly now. I'm most amazed by the utter lack of drone. In particular since this thing is about as close to a straight pipe as you'll get. If your windows are rolled up and your cruising on the highway its as civil as stock..maybe even better and I'm not exaggerating. Borla has impressed me with the last two exhausts I've bought from them from the standpoint of fitment and sound refinement. They are not just bending some pipe and calling it a day. There is no way you eliminate drone unless you've done your homework.

Thank you. I added the Blastin Bobs rear can delete and I was surprised how much louder the car is under load. The mid mufflers on my RE are little tubes and with the converters on it’s just right. I had an off-road pipe on there when I first got it and it was just a little annoying. Current setup sounds really good on the highway and I haven’t noticed any drone other than when I open my mouth. Thanks again for your post.
