When do you think the 2021 production numbers will be available? When deciding between REWB or Super Stock in regards to down the road investment value SS is definitely a more rare car. Going by the 2020 numbers. Plus the look in my opinion looks tough. What’s everyone’s thoughts? I’ve read allot of threads SS vs REWB and general consensus is they are both sweet. Even if you don’t take your SS to the track and just normal drive it seems everyone says it’s still a sweet ride. For me if I ordered the SS it would be more for the look and the rarity of the car. However I would gladly take either.

I’m sure there will be more SS’s than RE’s in 2021. You cant go by 2020 because they announced and released the SS very late in the production year. They only made 190ish due to the time frame. Now everyone is orderIng them. I had the choice in 2020 and went with the RE. Didnt make sense to buy a car with drag radials that I would probably never use because it will never see a dragstrip. Also I wanted the bigger brakes. To be honest the superstock won’t be any more rare than a redeye after 2020 imo. They are not a limited production vehicle.
Id buy/order the car you want and plan as if you are going to keep it. If at some point, its worth more than you paid, so much the better, knowing its a net positive/asset.
None of these HC/RE/SS are actually rare, even ones of very limited spec.
Dodge is known for stating one thing, and then later on, after the dust settles, doing something totally different. Its crafty marketing tactic that makes people jump, and then some regret it later.
Something tells me, they wont pull it (EV/hybrid) off this time either...at least like they think they can, and perhaps more importantly, able to sell them to the market they think wants them.....

Well, numbers should be out as I just got word the rest of us that have been waiting for our 2021 S/S are screwed. Chrysler bumped my order to BE yesterday after sitting in D since October. Appears their new JB promotion and DC relaunch take precedence over sold orders by the faithful for their flagship $100k vehicle. I smell a BS $$$ trail somewhere.

Not sure if OP got his car ordered, but just ready in the other forum that they are now canceling SS orders moving on the the JB platform. 1 guy has been waiting for months and just got confirmation today that his car will not be made.

Was that where they can’t fill his 21 order? I haven’t heard any problem with 22 orders except it could take forever? I ordered a ss a week ago and received vin and status change already.

Yea I think it was a 21 but he had vin to I believe it just wasn't moving. I would have to read it again.

I ordered my SS in August, the dealer says it is built and at a vender getting trim installed. Dodge emailed me and said the car will arrive at the dealer the week of 01/21/22.
We will see.

The 2021 super stocks have been tracked on the super stock FB page since day 1. So far there are at 217 on the list and they are being tracked by VIN. The cars are submitted from multiple sources. Now, even if this list is incomplete and its only half of the final total. Thats still under 500 for the model year.
My super stock has been on order since 6/15. It was built on 12/16. One of the last ones built. There were 9 weeks of shut downs in this time span. I also know there was shutdowns in January and March. Over 15 weeks of shutdowns since Jan 1, 2021. Now throw in all of the orders cancelled from October on. Thats 6+ months of opportunity to build cars that went out the window.

SS are rare for sure. I just got mine the March 2022 (it’s a 2021). I’ve only ever seen one other here in Oregon for sale on CL. The dealer says JB orders are being canceled too.
