No they didn't, it's supposed to be available (again) so just waiting to see what happens.Did they announce no more M6s?
Agreed, more HP is great, but at the time of our purchase we did not want to sacrifice the transmission for an A8 Redeye or Demon.subscribing, as my only regret on mine if getting the A8- which yes, it is way fast and can handle the ~1000hp im currently running, but the fun factor is NOT the same.
Awesome - was sad they are not bringing back Plum Crazy as I would be hopping on a new 2022 M6.No they didn't, it's supposed to be available (again) so just waiting to see what happens.

As a 950 wheel M6 owner of 3 years now what exactly in fun factor is “NOT the same”. NOT asking to start the usual war between autos and manuals just asking for details as I LOVE my M6, it’s taken a long while of progression (and money) to get where it’s at but there are times where I wish I had a A8 (mostly only at the track, which of late I haven’t got to visit much this last year, I make that wish when I’m fighting to hook on launch or bust something hard shifting that a auto wouldn’t be happening with (as much at least, I can only guess as I don’t have one nor ever driven one) So looking for your enlightenment from “tha otter side” from a high output A8 owner missing something with it.subscribing, as my only regret on mine if getting the A8- which yes, it is way fast and can handle the ~1000hp im currently running, but the fun factor is NOT the same.
no riddles here, exactly what it says: rowing my own gears and heel and toeing to downshift with perfect timing for a turn is greatly missed with the Auto.As a 950 wheel M6 owner of 3 years now what exactly in fun factor is “NOT the same”. No, the website still shows the 6-speed as standard on Hellcats. Still no word from @DodgeCares as to if/when we can order one though.Did they announce no more M6s?
Gotcha 100%, THANKS for sharing. I can say 950 wheel direct connected right foot to rear wheels is a hoot to drive. Selling it has crossed my mind a few times in these high $ times but 5 minutes behind the wheel changes that thought before I’m out of second gear on a trip to 140 and the exhilarating feeling coasting out after the blast your 4 limbs made happen. I’d love to drive a 9-950 wheel auto for a day just to know and maybe quell my want to have one that once in a while thought. If I could ever afford another and could have my manual too I think I’d buy a auto next and juggle the 2 for a time and part with one or the other in the year or two afterwards. Their both GREAT rides though no doubt. You close to North East Pa maybe we could go for a cruise someday driving each other’s cars for the day?no riddles here, exactly what it says: rowing my own gears and heel and toeing to downshift with perfect timing for a turn is greatly missed with the Auto.
I dont like the 8 gears, i think they are way too many, first and second are too short for my liking- something that got even more pronounced with the 3.09 diff I added- I hate paddle shifters so I always use the shifter, but it still doesnt feel right even driving it in "manual" mode and having installed a barton pistol grip shifter. I dont race the car anymore or make money racing in order to "need" the auto to hit it safely every single run, so I miss rowing my own gears.
Manual transmission comes as a second nature to me, as I have never owned an auto performance car until the hellcat. Almost 6 years later, this is the only option that I still regret choosing.
no problem. Also, 950whp is quite a lot, my best dyno read was ~870 whp (which translates to ~1000 at the crank vs the 707 stock) , so you 've got another 80-100 real HP compared to mine, so that could be a game changer in driving dynamics and I understand your concerns with so much horsepower.Gotcha 100%, THANKS for sharing. Turned it up a bit from this last time of this front view on the dyno.no problem. Sorry, just like 6 speeds, hoping they continue themCan we keep this thread on topic? The last 2022 six-speed thread was shut down precisely because of the discussion wandering all over.
Thanks.
Same. I've been waiting six months to hear that I can place an order on one...Sorry, just like 6 speeds, hoping they continue them
It was shut down because the thread went way off topic. For those of us who have been waiting for months to be able to order a 6-speed (in my case, six months) a thread where news on availability can be posted is important. Kindly humor us instead of dropping by to criticize. So we start a thread to replace a thread which the mods have closed and expect different results....
Mind modularity is strong here.
