Does anyone know if the 2022 Hellcats come with the RF Module locked from the factory? (To prevent extra keys from being created by thieves). I have seen conflicting posts and some people say that it comes locked when delivered to the customer, and other people say that they had to have it done at the dealer.

Is this the same as the “Sentry Key” system?
I’m new to the MOPAR crowd and just picked my car up last week. Thanks!

Talk to your service department and have them run your VIN to see if you need the FOB Module Update.

I got the letter about securing the RF-Hub to keep criminals from programming their own key dandies. Because of the outcomes of losing coxcombs after this is finished, I am as yet unsure to make this move. Could locking the entryways with the button on the entryway deal with have a similar impact as locking the center point? If the lock/open button on the dandy isn't squeezed, the sign couldn't show up for criminals to take, right?

No, none of them do. This is an optional procedure that your desler will do free of charge upon request. If you want any additional FOBs above the 2 Reds and 1 Black that comes with the car, then you would have to pay for that before the hub is locked.
