Hi Folks..... am I losing is or did I not read/hear that the 2022 Redeye would be coming out with the 807hp engine?

On the build site, it does not seem to reference that fact.. I believe it all still says 797hp

set me straight please (not that 797 is not enough, but 807 is better when bragging)

There's no difference in the 797/807HP engines. Dodge tested the engine at different RPM's and the whole thing is a PR lie. Get the 797 and save the money.

I would like clarification on this. Since there is zero difference I can rev my RE to 6400 and get the 807? Correct ? Same as the SS. Without any modifications or changes? They’re exactly the same as you say. Only marketing. If we put the two cars on a Dyno stock. You’re saying if we floored them both they would both have exactly the same max HP ? If Yes, Do you have anything to prove this. Thanks

> The factory compression ratio on the 6.2L HEMI engine is a healthy 9.5:1 and the horsepower ratings are 707-717 @ 6,000 RPM (SRT Hellcat); 797 @ 6,300 RPM (SRT Hellcat Redeye); 807 @ 6,400 RPM (Super Stock); and 808-840 @ 6,300 RPM (SRT Demon). <<

Dodge said it several times in the past. Same everything, different RPM the hp reading was taken at. Can we please bury this dead horse already?

@rayzazoo has us covered with all that good information. Check out this thread:

How about the engine certification? How are we doing? They are allowed to market ANY HP numbers under their actual rated HP. Demon, Redeye, SS, all the same engine.

Now are we done debating 15 HP in 800?

Szit, you can deviate 749-817 HP just with the DA btw a 40 degree day (20 degree DP) and 90 degree day (70 degree DP) with a base 797 HP. Also variables such as fuel will matter once you are into the fine print also.

You guys made me feel really good today with this.... I care less about the 2022 "807" topic and I have an appointment to order the HCREWB tomorrow!!!! 797 HP is good enough (although from now on I am saying 817!!!!!). Looking forward to getting rid of the Scatpack widebody and joining your excellent club/family -- seems like a very smart club (and cool too!)

Good stuff, Don't forget to get a sweet Cat-back exhaust and let us hear it... You aren't driving a Hellcat unless you're driving it as loud as possible.
