So after selling my 2019 Charger Hellcat last November, I rejoined the Hellcat community about 2 weeks ago. Picked up my 2022 Charger Redeye at Koons and drove the 500 miles home to NH on7/9.Ordered Feb. 24th so it was about time. If you can believe the build and ship dates, It was in transit for 6-7 weeks.
On 7/13 my wife and I left NH for the 400mile run to Loring where we join 2nd Amend on 7/14.
There was fairly good turnout for this event. Approx. a total of 70 cars and bikes. Certainly better than last year. Overall attendance has been shrinking since my first time at this event in 20012.To me the most interesting aspect is the wide diversity of cars and bikes. 230 + MPH streamliner followed by a 40 hp VW followed by 250 mph bike.
Will post up some photos later showing some of the different vehicles.
So my best run was 177 mph in 1 mile.. Thought there would be a little more. I guess between the widebody and the stock tune on the 21 and 22s being very conservative that was it! Will probably make some changes for next year.

I would have expected more from the RE also. As you know I expected to do better than last year but not. The Ferrari guy (Bob?) said he was much slower this year also. Did you hear anyone else saying anything? Maybe the air was not as good?

The barometric air pressure would have been lower on Thursday with the rain coming in the way it did. Did not hear much from anybody else. I believe last September probably was better air. We did have a crosswind and I believe the air may have been cooler.I would have expected more from the RE also. As you know I expected to do better than last year but not. Ran at the Loring Timinig association event in Limestone Maine a couple of weeks ago.Met my goal of over 200 mph in 1.5 miles. Best last September was 183 mph in 1 mile. Since then added 2.85 upper pulley and Demon injectors.Weather was 77 degrees with mid 60s dew points and low air pressure...

New PB almost a 9 SECOND PASS ! Ran against a REWB...
Yes it was a very busy day at the last Test and Tune of the year for me. I had waited over 3 weeks for some good weather to hopefully make that 9 second pass. I was parked beside another Hellcat owner who I had met a month ago at one the street nights. He and I were the first 2 cars to go...

It was reported on the LTA FB page that a B52 landed at Loring AFB in Aug! They said it was the first time since 1993.

This is very good for us as it keeps the base on the radar so hopefully the gvt will help maintain the runways. My guess is that since there are no more space shuttles NASA is not as aggressive on maintaining alternate landing sites.
