Dodge is usually slow to announce new model years... but this is nap time. Zero PR at this point. I miss the days of huge fanfare (the Demon tearsers were so bad-ass!). Now, nothing to get excited about. Or put me in a trade-in mood. ( I heard they just stored the leftover 2021s and are slapping 2022 labels on them.)

Guess I'll have to wait until the 2023s.

it doesn't work that way. if there is a vin and its assigned to the car it will be a 2021 period. The 2022's have not been announced yet so they are still building 21's

I don't think anything has changed since the Redeye was announced so I wouldn't expect any PR for the 2022 model year.

"STLA Large is perhaps most of interest to gearheads as it's meant for "All-wheel drive performance and American muscle." It will all but certainly be the bones for the teased electric muscle car from Dodge coming in a few years."

-STLA Large 2000mm width, 5276mm length
-200-plus kilowatt hours of energy
-500 miles to a charge in the Large and Frame platforms,

And there you have it. Nothing worth talking about really.

Looks like a wish list to me. Like, the Porsche Taycan "wishes" it could get 500 range, but can't because the performance tires it uses coupled with the drive motor design won't allow it. It would be neat if they could figure all this out...

But an 880-1200hp car (dual or tri motor) with 500mi range is going to be a $200,000 car if they do.

Yeah 2024 is the next big thing... aka Dodge discontinuing 6.2 supercharged after 2024 model year

I would be happy with at least a new hood or wheel design. If not more horsepower, give us a little something that looks even more bad-ass (if that's possible!) But don't serve the same meal two years in a row.

The one thing I did hear was there will be 3 separate "final edition" models. Not exactly sure what that means or when these will get released but my guess is it'll be 2024. I think dodge isn't going to do any major updates to the platform from now until then. So if you are waiting to order one for something new and excited you'll be waiting until 2024 at least.

The Street Racing Team was disbanded and Dodge has made their position clear on the future of electrification so it would be unlikely that they plan on any significant changes to the combustion engine models. I expect 2025 to be the complete revamp to meet Stelantis electrification goals. Why change 23' & 24' when they are going to a completely new power platform? The new electric versions are Dodge working out the transition with what they have (cars designed for cobmustion engines) and are designing what they can do with electric.

I'd love throwback styling interior and out, carbon fiber bodies, filled with subtle tech toys as standard features to keep the era styling, like HUD. Imagine being able to order any era body style and interior features, it's pretty much just a surfboard at this point. And, of course a 3.83 qtr mile SS which you have to have a piolets license to drive. Can't wait to lay on the gas and hear that

Probably means a huge markup for some nonsense changes
