Thank you. Perhaps the security update will be available for the existing model variants via software?
Stellantis Media - 2022 Dodge Challenger / Challenger SRT Fact SheetNew for 2022, deluxe security alarm is standard on R/T Scat Pack, SRT Hellcat, SRT Hellcat Redeye and SRT Super Stock models, included with Driver Convenience Group on SXT, SXT AWD, GT, GT AWD and R/T models.media.stellantisnorthamerica.com
nothing new other than the security updates from 2021 to 2022. If you can get a 21 for the price you are after now, I'd say do it especially while trade-ins are high.
Typical FCA price gouging horsesh1t. All of a sudden most colors require an upcharge of some kind 🙄I didn't see in the Stellantis info anything about the SRT Black Package.
Includes Badge Delete, Satin Black Dodge Tail Lamp Badge, Black Exterior Badging, SRT Grille Badge, SRT Spoiler Badge
Also didn't mention the new color Stinger Yellow or the color prices.

It's not just FCA, it's becoming very common now for anything but plain white/silver/black.Typical FCA price gouging horsesh1t. All of a sudden most colors require an upcharge of some kind 🙄
Nothing new....plymouth and dodge charged extra for high impact colors back in the late 60s/early 70s tooIt's not just FCA, it's becoming very common now for anything but plain white/silver/black.
I think it’s because Torred is a base color with no metallic in it nor tint coat. It’s just Torred clearcoat. Octane red is metallic and they up charge for it. But we are spending 70k for a car, that color up charge is like nothing to us.Whats funny about the paint upcharge is, TorRed is a no charge color. Red paint is the most expensive to make. It should be an upcharge yet with Dodge it is the same price as black and white.
They haven't offered Redline Red on Challengers since 2016. I wonder why. They've gotten rid of more "high impact" colors than the more mundane ones. I've had 2 yellow cars. Never would have guessed that.Anything new that pops
