I am sorry if I missed any other posts about this - but is there any more news on the 2023 Challenger E85 option? Producing 900HP, and will run on 100-octane fuel? Any updates would be greatly appreciated ..

Weren't the Jailbreaks conjured up so that you COULD order it this way? What happened over at Dodge? I've never seen an automaker make it so hard to get what they advertise to be selling.

E85 is going to be the “high octane” mode. It’s not going to be flex fuel. It’ll be rated whatever it is now, maybe 10-20hp more for pump gas, and then the 909 for straight e85.

That being said, it’s going to be a stage 3 kit that isnt’t carb compliant. They won’t do a “crate”, that would take away from the demon owners that are already getting screwed

It's their parts suppliers, I'm not sure if Dodge actually makes anything, HEMI makes the engines and aren't owned by Dodge, anybody know?

Still TBD according to DC catalog on Dodge site today, don't know if it's been updated. Still being listed as "Under Development" AKA California holding things up.

It looks like they are working on the web site to buy parts direct(?).

Just do the 3.0. If someone wants to do E85 then let them do it. The hardware would be way more valuable then something we can all do much cheaper. The Hellcat is one of the most Iconic muscle cars ever built and it needs a better send off than something as lame as just E85.

Has anyone gotten a "best guess" pricing yet from your closest Power Broker-dealer? The closest to me is in Columbus, OH, and the last I talked with them they said they are still waiting to send their tech's off for training and do not have any updated information on the cost for installation.

Well, no. Jailbreak was never meant to be an order whatever you want, it’s opening up ordering options that typically aren’t allowed, say a certain with with a certain color or interior with a color. It’s still limited in what you can order….

HEMI is neither a company nor a brand name. It refers to the hemispherical design of the combustion chamber.

Ken Black inherited the 426 Hemi mold from his father Keith who was genius and bought it from Chrysler in 1975. Keith immediately started casting them in aluminum and every fuel car in the country ran one back then, and for years to come. Now there are many companies offering a billet elephant. ProLine sells a really nice hemi. A nice wedge motor too
