Hi all, I have a brand new 2023 Challenger SRT Jailbreak Widebody Redeye. It only has 2300 miles on it. It has been babied the entire time. The Center Driveshaft bearing rubber boot is torn all the way around. The reason I even inspected it was I had a slight squealing noise when driving slowly from a stop that goes away as I go faster. I don't want to void the warranty I have looked at DDS and others out there. I came across The JXB product,
www.jxbperformance.com

I don't really want to go through warranty because it will most likely happen again, and I am super anal with my ride I hate when others work on it. I would easily do the swap myself but again Id have to buy the part only for it to happen again. What are everyone's thoughts?

YOU COULD HAVE 0 SYMPTOMS AND THIS BE TORN THE WAY IT IS

My 21 Redeye squeaks EVERY time I push gas pedal. Real annoying. Started at around 6000 miles. Looked underneath and seems to be near area of gas tank but can’t pinpoint. Waiting on appointment.

Check the driveshaft bearing
I did the JXB center bearing install on my 2019 REWB
Easy install, and hi quality product.

were you missing any rubber around the bearing?

Cracked, and some smal bites missing
My 22 Redeye WB had the same issue, a total failure of the center bushing at 900 miles, it was banging around like a MF but still made it home a few miles. I didn't want to do a warranty repair because they would just put the same weak factory crap back in the car. So I installed the JXB bearing support and couldn’t be happier. I’ve had multiple hard launches and 150+ mph runs since with no issues. Get the JBX and don’t look back!

Thanks! Did you have rubber missing from the center bearing? Jxb says you should have a base of rubber around it before installing.

Not much; it separated pretty bad, it was close to total failure

I had to do some trimming and massage it to fit flush. Totally took all vibration and movement out of the driveline.
it works really well. We will see how long it holds up. I drive this car like a total jackass. Hammer down!

Looks pretty stout. Will that brace void the warranty? I mean, it really shouldn't since the factory brace is obviously garbage.

I would hope not. It’s an improvement over the stock junk. the only reason it’s not better from the factory is probably cost. We’ll see how long it lasts…

Mine is at the dealer with the same issue. Driveshaft is back order with ETA of Aug 15. Total BS!!! I have been thinking about getting the car back home and installing the JXB myself. Can it be done off drive up ramps or is a lift required?
That’s why I did the JXB. The factory bushing is junk. So the dealer wants you to wait months to replace junk with junk…no thanks!

No lift required but having all 4 corners up is pretty much required. i used 4 tall jack stands.
you have to remove the rear exhaust section and cut the factory brace so the more room the easier it is
