Thank you for the information - my XXX000 is still a pretty cool VIN. I am pretty excited, and this DDHC will have a good home next to my two Super Stocks, Demon and TRX! MOPAR or NO car!
Oh absolutely, I was in no way trying to take anything away from the conversation. Just give some extra stats based on my search results from last night. Was great to see the DDHC orders start coming in because up to that point I had only found 3 outside of the pilot builds earlier in the year.

Nice collection you have there for sure!

I placed my order on 11/12/22 at 11:31am the morning that orders were officially open. I received my vin number on the morning of 11/16/22. Can you tell me where my order falls in line? Last 8 of the VIN is PC552997. I feel as if I had to of been very early in the ordering as my dealer called me as soon as they opened and it took them roughly 2 hours to have every submitted.
You were the 50th order issued a VIN but that has no bearing on when it will be built, so I wouldnt state it as "in line" since they dont build them in order of VIN sequence

New to this Placed order for DDHC Loaded Nov 12 got phone call from dealer Nov 19th and e mailed me paper from Dodge with order# and Vin# last 8 PC554931 but when I look up it states no vin# issued is this normal?
Depends on what you mean by "look up" If you are meaning trying to pull up the build sheet then yes, that isnt populated until the vehicle has been built.

look up meaning on Dodge Brand Vehicle Order Tracking
Ahh, yes, the tracker tends to be behind actual status changes. Some it is spot on, others seem to lag with no apparent reason why.

If you have a copy of your POC from your dealer, that is the most complete/accurate piece of information you can get. Unforunately, there is just no good way for users to get that outside of continually asking your dealer for an updated copy of it.

Thanks for posting but that tracking site isn't near as accurate as what he's been doing on the TRXs which was awesome.
I am doing similar here as well. Submit your info at the link below and I will include you in my daily posts here. Keep in mind that your dealer will still be able to provide the best / most accurate information as I have no affiliation with Stellantis and just gather all the public information I can find about every VIN then summarize it for the forums.

Not to sidetrack the conversation, but this still seems to be the best place to post this information. I found some very good numbers with my morning searches. The Jefferson plant turned out 1414 vehicles over the weekend. Still no DDHC's, I keep waiting for that first sold unit to hit the line!
(There have been 27 DDHC's built so far but all were Pilot vehicles)

Here is the summary of what I found this morning, if anyone finds it of interest.

@triple_B these are 2023s? I thought JNAP was done with JGC (WK2) production. JGC SRTs have been out of production since last December.

You are correct, all of those I had marked as JGC SRT are in fact JGC Overlands.

Here is what is odd, I cant find a 2023 VIN Identification Guide for Jefferson, but the other plants I have tracked havent changed VIN grouping conventions year over year. I have an FCA guide that would identify that VIN as an SRT in previous year so I just took for granted that it still applied for 2023 as well. I will keep looking for a 2023 chart and get those corrected. Thanks for pointing that out!

Are you able to see the VINs on the ones that have started production?
I am not sure what your asking exactly. I search for all builds and this was just a quick update on the ones I found today. This is the same thing I was doing for 2022 builds as well.

The DDHC today is the first built since last October. Todays build was still a company car so I wouldnt consider this an official production vehicle, but since its the first built in 3 months it still may be a good sign that things are getting ready to kick off.

I know how your process works and I am thankful, like others, for the continuous updates you provide. I was just asking if you would provide the last 6 of the 2023 VINs you have found that have begun production is all. Sounds like they are "Fast Feedback" models that they do every year before true production begins. As you state we might be a few months out from regular production based on how they rolled out the 2021s.
Ahh, that makes more sense. I knew you and I had talked multiple times about my process of searching so I didnt understand why you were asking if I could see the VIN. You meant to ask if you could see the VIN!

Absolutely, here is the build sheet. Access Denied (dodge.com)
