Agreed. Makes me glad I got a 21. Back then I was hoping for a Power Dollars rebate that never came, but at least I don't have to deal with the current ordering/supply/demand/ADM issues. I'd most likely walk away if that were the case. And that's coming from a guy who loves his DHC.
I also have a 2021 Durango Hellcat, but I ordered a 2023 on the first day they became available because I believe that the 'final year' of the big Supercharged Hemi will be more desirable later down the line. I had absolutely no problems with ordering/supply/demand/ADM issues as you mentioned. I paid MSRP (107K), and I got my VIN. I will sell my 2021 when the new one arrives.

We get it. All you Demon owners are rich. But a big reason for the demand/ADM issues is because of people like you. Speculators masking as collectors, treating the car as an investment to profit from later rather than to drive and enjoy now. Since you didn't answer my initial question, how about this one; how many quarter mile passes on your Demon?
Another know it all, who knows absolutely nothing. I have over 3,600 miles on my Demon (mostly stoplight to stoplight) and have raced it locally as well as in Las Vegas. I don't resell my cars/trucks for profit because I don't need to. The gentleman who posted previously is 100% right, you are simply jealous of others who have the life that you want. Grow up man.

It’s not always a question of rich. I understand prices went up for essentially the same vehicle since 2021. It doesn’t matter. I missed out last time because we weren’t in the market for a new car. I have to pay more today. I’m not contributing to the war on price by purchasing for above MSRP. Sure it would be nice to get a deal on a 23 but with limited availability and the EV market looming on the horizon I‘m not going to haggle over a few grand and potentially wind up empty handed. The scarcity alone has to impact everyone’s decision.
Don't let this sad dude bother you. This is what he does. Who cares who pays what for the car or truck that they desire. It is no one else's business, period.

The biggest drawback on a 21 is you really don’t know how they treated it. Why save money on a used car when you can just buy new and feel confident you F’d it up instead. Lol.
I agree 100%. Why would you buy a used '21 when you can order a brand new 2023? Plus, you know that most of these DDHC's have been enjoyed, and you never know what you are going to get buying used. Personally, I don't buy used cars ever, unless they are classics of course ;)

Some of you guys are acting like triggered snowflakes who don't know how to have an adult conversation with someone with differing opinions without resorting to personal attacks. Do better.
Who is the OP? Hmmm, that would be DEMON 319. Just leave and start your own thread man. Your negativity and snide comments are unwanted here! Split!

It's basically a fact that 2023 will be the final year for the 6.2 Supercharged Hemi motor. If they do build another DDHC in the future, it will most likely be electric, or a twin-turbo V6 of some sort. It will never be the same as the big Hemi, it won't sound the same, etc. Feel comfortable knowing you are getting the last of the legendary Hellcats.
I am betting that Dodge is planning on using the 800V electric all-wheel drive propulsion system that will be in the Charger Daytona Banshee to power other vehicles as well. Maybe the Durango will get this powerplant somewhere down the line, and carry on the Durango Hellcat name. Who knows.
