2023 Dodge Durango Hellcat

I am happy to say that I placed my order for a new 2023 Dodge Durango Hellcat on 'day one', and already have a VIN. According to my good friend @ the local dealership, he believes that my order was the first one on the books for 2023, with my VIN ending in 000. Either way, I am excited and can't wait to get my hands on it. She will be Destroyer Grey w/ Redline Red/Black stripes, and Demonic Red interior, w/ all available options. I found it interesting that even though I got my VIN, there is no breakdown for price on the POC. I am guessing that prices have gone way up for 2023.

I can follow the pizza tracker for my DDHC order and see that it went to scheduled on 1/18/23. How do I see the status code, i.e. D, D1, etc?

Thanks!! D1 status for my DDHC!! As a bonus, I have an estimated ship date of 2/2. I find that hard to believe since it's only "scheduled" on the pizza tracker.

It's nice to see the new colors on the Durangos and I wonder if they're available for order. I'm in D1, so I don't think I could change it even if I wanted to

... Luckily, I like the Destroyer Gray

I just spoke with a local dealer who told me that he couldn't order the Durango with the new colors on his system.

Also, regarding allocations, he asked me if I was interested in ordering a DDHC from him. They had two previous allocations that they sold (insert ordered) with an ADM of $25K. They just received a third allocation. I told him I couldn't afford his markups... So, apparently Dodge is adding DDHC allocations.

My dealer ordered a Challenger Jailbreak w/o allocation when order banks opened and it went to ZA status real quick. My DDHC was ordered on 11/18/2022 w/o allocation from same dealer and I went to D with VIN in two days. I went back to BG a month later then BX in one week and now back to BG two weeks ago. Both dealer and Dodge case manager tell me it is still a good order with VIN. Dodge told me it is just waiting to be scheduled and to just be patient because things are moving slow.

I placed an unallocated order for a DDHC and it wasn't cancelled. It's now in D1 status. I don't know if the dealer subsequently received an additional allocation. I quickly received a VON and about six weeks later I received the VIN with a "You're Scheduled to be Built" email.

So far, I have haven’t gotten one and the dealer didn’t know. I guess my point is we might be sitting in D1 status for awhile. Either way it’s moving in a positive direction.

My sense is, judging from various members' posts, that the start of production for the DDHCs is about 2-3 weeks after the notification of being scheduled. Hopefully, that will be your experience as well!
