2023 Dodge Durango Hellcat

I am happy to say that I placed my order for a new 2023 Dodge Durango Hellcat on 'day one', and already have a VIN. According to my good friend @ the local dealership, he believes that my order was the first one on the books for 2023, with my VIN ending in 000. Either way, I am excited and can't wait to get my hands on it. She will be Destroyer Grey w/ Redline Red/Black stripes, and Demonic Red interior, w/ all available options. I found it interesting that even though I got my VIN, there is no breakdown for price on the POC. I am guessing that prices have gone way up for 2023.

Looking for real world feedback. I have a TRX and a charger hellcat. I am keeping my TRX because II always want a truck, I have been thinking about giving up the charger for a Durango Hellcat, if I cam find one at MSRP. I love my charger but having another AWD hellcat powered vehicle, with more room than my charger and sits up higher, really sounds appeasing to me. I had a redeye challenger and gave that up for the TRX. I did not regret it, although the challenger was more fun to drive but the truck was so much more practical. Anyone make the jump from a charger to the Durango?
I should probably just keep my charger. It’s fun to drive and a change of pace from the TRX. I wish dodge would release the stage kits.

I ordered tonight. Dealership originally wanted an ADM a week ago but called me back and offered it for sticker. Destroyer grey, plus package, black package. Now I will have to decide if the Charger or the TRX gets sold/traded in. I really think I am going to keep my TRX. I do love the Charger but not a big fan of sitting down lower, climbing in and out and the rear wheel drive. My wife will probably kill me when she finds out but I have a feeling she will like driving the Durango.

Interesting. I ordered on 11/14 from a dealership NOT on the list. I got a VON, POC and VIN within two days of ordering. Not sure what the dealership not being on the list means, but getting an assigned VIN seems like assurance enough that it will be built. Thoughts?
I would be curious to know if any of the alleged 1400 canceled orders had a VIN. The dealership I ordered from is on the list, but I do not have a VIN yet or at least the dealership hasn’t informed me of having one yet. I don’t know how many “allocations“ the dealership has, how many were already ordered, etc. I am a little leery because they wanted ADM and then a week later was willing to do sticker. Meaning did they sell all allocations with an ADM and then take more orders at sticker thinking they would get more allocations? I do have a signed Vehicle Buyer’s Order so I know I am price protected. I guess I am going into this hoping for the best but wouldn’t be shocked if I didn’t get one and the order falls though.
I just checked. My order isn’t cancelled but I still don’t have a VIN yet. It was ordered on the 7th. They are on the list but they didn’t tell me how many they ordered or how many allocations they have.
I am just hoping to get notified that I at least have a VIN at some point. I ordered on 12-07. At what point should I become concerned that a VIN hasn’t been assigned? Again, they are on the list for allocations but I don’t know how many allocations they actually received vs how many they ordered.
I did receive an email today from Dodge stating my order was received. I also have my VON and can at least track my order status on the website. It states my order was processed on the 20th. I waited for months for my TRX, only to have it stolen from the shipping yard. I was supposed to be fast tracked for another order but had to wait almost another 3 months. I ended up accepting a TRX that someone backed out of that was on the dealer's lot.

Guys thank you all for sharing info.

Has anyone else ordered recently and not receive their VIN? I have POC since 12/14 but no VIN to date. Ordered from a Power Broker (yes they're on the sheet that's been passed around).
Yes I am in the same boat. I have a POC on 12-07 and a VON but no VIN as of yet. The dealership is on the list for allocation(s). According to the Dodge tracker, the order was received on 12-20.

I got it for MSRP and already paid my deposit of 1k. At this point, I am not going to place another order with another dealership and pay another deposit.

Waiting patiently hoping I get a VIN and it gets scheduled for production. If not, I guess it wasn’t meant to be.

After your dealer places your order you are supposed to receive an email from dodge congratulating you on your order. It will include your von. Your dealer will also receive your vin when your order is accepted by dodge.
I did receive the email from Dodge

I finally got my VIN tonight. I added it Triple B’s tracker. Dealership said the VIN just showed up. When I put my VON in the Dodge tracker, it does not show my VIN or any updates yet.

Almost exact same time frame as mine ordered on Nov 12 got VN on Nov 16 still no VN on Tracker, I don't expect one on Tracker from what I understand until Early Feb. If Triple B can come up with something before hand would be bonus, but he can only do what he can do. Lucky to have someone like him with connections.
I actually ordered on Dec. 7th, received my email from Dodge on the 21st with a VON in the email. Funny thing is when I checked the tracker, it says order received on 12-20-2022. I probably should have asked the dealership for the VON before that. My sales rep at the dealership sent me a text with the VIN yesterday. I went ahead and contacted Dodge Cares for an update on the order from their end and I am going to ask the dealership for an updated POC.

I had to wait for several months last year when I ordered my TRX. And then it was one of many stolen while it was waiting to be shipped. A duplicate order was supposed to be "fast tracked" but, shockingly, that didn't happen:) Dealer received two TRX that customers backed out of and I took one. They obviously honored the discount.

I am totally good with sitting back and being patient, but I just want to make sure my order is good to go.
I got an updated POC from the dealer that confirmed my VIN and D status. Dodge Cares also emailed me and stated my order has been accepted. Dodge Tracking still has not updated to show my VIN.
Interesting that yours was ordered after my confirmed order yet yours has moved to D1 while mine is still pending scheduled production. I’m in D status.
The one thing that was abundantly clear when I ordered my TRX was that there was no rhyme or reason as to how fast or what order the trucks were built. Level 1 TRX and black TRX seemed to take less time. I am sure we will see the same thing with our Durango HC as well as all other Hellcats.

It was definitely frustrating to see someone order the same TRX build, sometimes months after you, and post they went to D1 status while you are stuck in D purgatory:)

Mine is destroyer grey, black package, plus package
Do you guys and gals have the 5N9 code (guaranteed schedule) vs 5N6 (easy order) on your POC. I have 5N6. Reading through the Charger and Challenger jailbreak last call orders, they have the 5N9 since they are allocations?
5N6. What is the significance? Our dealer has allocation and is on the list.
I don’t think with our Durangos there is any significance or at least I hope not, that’s why I asked. Looks like the Chargers and Challengers have that 5N9 code on their POC to denote there is an allocation available and their ordered is guaranteed. The horsepower locator for the cars denotes exactly how many allocations the dealership received. We just have a list of dealers for the Durangos and not the number of allocations . My dealer is on the list but has never told me how many allocations they received vs. how many they have ordered. Since my order has been accepted, I have a VIN and I am in D status, I assume all good. Just double checking with you all on that code.

When I ordered, both of the dealerships just said we have the allocation, I never asked nor did they say the number of allocations in total they had.
Same here.

So I just checked the Dodge Tracker. The good news is my VIN has finally and showed up and I have a scheduled date of....01-10-23. LOL, so yesterday apparently. All of the other dates are still TBD.

Thank you. I am sure the date is not correct but it does give hope they are moving forward.
I agree with you. This one also has Mopar Dual Black/Redline stripes so this will be an interesting test to see how long until the window sticker pops up. Stripes added a few weeks to a month or more in 2021.
I was leaning really hard towards the mopar stripes but decided not to since I thought it might add to production time. I figured I can always get them once I get it and before I have it ceramic coated. I was so excited when the tracker updated and it showed a schedule date of yesterday. I understand it can stay there for awhile before it goes to production but I assume mine will be built fairly soon once they start production. Maybe Stellantis took pity on me since my 22 TRX order was such a fiasco and my TRX was stolen while waiting to be shipped:)
