I also have a 2021 Durango Hellcat, but I ordered a 2023 on the first day they became available because I believe that the 'final year' of the big Supercharged Hemi will be more desirable later down the line. I had absolutely no problems with ordering/supply/demand/ADM issues as you mentioned. I paid MSRP (107K), and I got my VIN. I will sell my 2021 when the new one arrives.
How much more is $107k compared to what you paid for the 21?

Try having your dealer place your order anyway - my dealer did not have an allocation yet when I ordered mine on day one, but my order was accepted w/ a VIN assinged two days later. You never know and it can't hurt.
Well my dealer says they can't place the order without allocation, so I am still pending in order purgatory until they receive their allocation.

I wonder if Dodge has paused the allocation rollout or if they really are just taking their sweet time. Seems quite a few other people have had luck with their dealers who have already been given their allocation in the last week or so.

I can put you in touch with a dealer that has allocation. Where are you located?

It doesn't matter to me. Prices have gone up on everything. How much was a gallon of milk in 2021 ??
We get it. All you Demon owners are rich. But a big reason for the demand/ADM issues is because of people like you. Speculators masking as collectors, treating the car as an investment to profit from later rather than to drive and enjoy now. Since you didn't answer my initial question, how about this one; how many quarter mile passes on your Demon?

It’s not always a question of rich. I understand prices went up for essentially the same vehicle since 2021. It doesn’t matter. I missed out last time because we weren’t in the market for a new car. I have to pay more today. I’m not contributing to the war on price by purchasing for above MSRP. Sure it would be nice to get a deal on a 23 but with limited availability and the EV market looming on the horizon I‘m not going to haggle over a few grand and potentially wind up empty handed. The scarcity alone has to impact everyone’s decision.

Another know it all, who knows absolutely nothing. I have over 3,600 miles on my Demon (mostly stoplight to stoplight) and have raced it locally as well as in Las Vegas. I don't resell my cars/trucks for profit because I don't need to. The gentleman who posted previously is 100% right, you are simply jealous of others who have the life that you want. Grow up man.

Don't let this sad dude bother you. This is what he does. Who cares who pays what for the car or truck that they desire. It is no one else's business, period.

You nailed it perfectly! Thank you! This same guy hassled me for being a car collector, and preferring red interior in my DDHC. Folks who are happy with their own life simply don't act like this. You really have to feel sorry for people like him.

I really hate red interiors! Lol. Thanks. I’m happy you shared. Now go away. Ha!

HA! What a surprise! Another pimpled-faced teenager on the Hellcat forum! Heavy Metal Dude! What a joke! At least it's not as bad as your pal George Michael :ROFLMAO::LOL:
You misread my message. It was someone else who repeatedly said they hated red. I’m just referring to their useless post. I’m suggesting they go away. Who cares. Ha!
