This may already be posted somewhere but does anyone know roughly when in October the 2023 ordering info, pricing and allocations will be announced?

[/ My dealer told me they get notified of their dealer allocations Oct 1. I have my spec sheet to them already and they will place the order as soon as it opens up. The key is to get in the front of the line with your dealer(s) and insure you get one of their allocations. guaranteed msrp pricing. Not bad if it works. If not I still got the 22 SS and 1320 to enjoy forever.

Not yet but 2023 production doesn’t start till Dec 5. So factor in Christmas and New Year’s you probably won’t see one on the ground till next year- going to be awhile.

I understand. Just talking about ordering. I will be buying from Dan Cummins. I have my name on the "list" which is all they said they can do until pricing and allocation is announced in October. I was just wondering if anyone knew if it would be early or late October.

"For example, say that a dealership near you has allocations for 50 Charger SRT Hellcat models for the 2023 model year and during the first week of the order banks being open, that dealership receives three customer orders for a Charger SRT Hellcat along with ordering five cars for inventory. The number of available allocations for that dealership in the Horsepower Locator would go down by eight units, so when the system update is performed, that dealership will then show you they have 42 available orders for the 2023 model year. That process will continue, consistently showing the drop in remaining allocations, until all the vehicles planned for production for the 2023 Challenger and Charger have been converted into orders."

Is there a chance that all the allocations at every dealer will be totally sold in the first 2-3 months? I can see this happening.......................

Well, there will probably be allocations left but those will be the CRAZY marked up ones, like 150k for a Red Eye. I can't wait to see this!

You guys ordering 2023 need to be calling dealers NOW and getting on their lists. No way you can wait on this!

My dealer said their allocations will likely be gone the first week. They are not the largest HC dealer so they have my build sheet and will order as soon as the allocations are awarded. Maybe larger dealerships will have 3 months supply of allocations, but I think it will be a shortened build season also, I would hate the be the last guy on that list. Any HC on the lot will bring a premium I'm sure. Heck, $100k will keep a lot of people out of the market.

I see: I have 50 allocations I can sell for whatever I want.

Calling dealers now increases hype for the 23' line and will drive up prices if they think there is a pool of 500 buyers for 50 cars, a lot of duplicate orders will further muddy the waters. These cars are weird as they fall in the gap between mass production vehicles and high end sports cars, where the rich will still be rich but may not care about a giant engine in an ancient platform; the middle class may pass on a gas guzzling, over priced, under developed tech car with poor interior aesthetics and features compared to similarly priced cars.

The fed raised interest rates which are pushing mortgages up to 7% and higher, in effect does the same as inflation by pricing people out of the market. A house was listed at $830K here (a 3 story shotgun about 20' wide on a 1/4 acre lot) no interest so dropped price to $770K and had 5 viewings, thing was last year he would have gotten bids and sold for over $830K. The customer base is getting thinned out and only MOPAR faithful or Fanboys are stressing over getting a new HC, you really have to love the HC to put up with all the BS.

Won't be a shortened build season, it will be 13 months from DEC22 to DEC23.

And Donlen had said order banks open on October 5th for months but now they are just saying October.

Are you sure about them running production through December of 2023? I thought they were cutting the 2023 production year short so they can convert the plant for the 2024 EV's.

Stellantis Confirms Windsor Plant Will Be Vehicles Based On STLA Large Architecture!

I think Brampton is being retooled for EV only and Hybrids will be built at Windsor(?). As they know how many CHAR/CHAL they are going to produce (or think they can) that should give them the ability to plan the shutdown and change over ahead of time, my guess the biggest determining factor would be that they can actually build the cars ordered in a timely manor or will have to delay closure do to parts shortages holding up the schedule.

Yeah, let's not put the idea that Hellcats are popular in dealer's heads.

They were going to halt production at the end of the 3rd quarter. I've since seen official releases saying Dodge is idling Brampton in September and I've seen them also say production will extend through the end of December. So, who knows? Apparently their PR team doesn't.

What's the language about a 'reserve' mean? I read it to mean they could make them in 2024 due to overwhelming demand...

There will be a couple months of reserve, just in case 2023 decides we haven’t already seen enough natural disasters or chip shortages that could impact production

Or maybe that's the cushion Sept to dec 23?

That's what everyone here was saying, that 2023 was going to be a very short model year. But Tim K himself said 1 year of production that will run from this December to next December. He over emphasized this as a way for everyone who wants a car will have the chance to get one.

I just saw a graphic on a fleet ordering website that listed the pricing release dates, order bank open dates and production start dates of many of the 2023 cars. It listed the order banks for Challengers and Chargers opening on November 7, 2022 with production to begin on December 10. Who knows but it looked legit.
