Im about sick of this Charger. Since day uno its been one WEIRD car. Tons of weird driving glitches and then the incident at the track and after on the way home with it going to zero boost at the top of 4th.

Now we have a new issue. YAY. This ******* car thinks I remote start it even though I get into the car with the key and push the brake and hit the button.

It gets really loud like all the fans are running and the radio stays off, just like when its remote started. The dash shows press the brake and press the start button.

Then after like 10 seconds of trying to get it out of remote start mode, it shuts off and says remote start disabled. Then I can start it normally.

This has happened twice in three days. Car is not daily driven and only has 2500 miles. No codes stored.

I am ready to launch it to one of those car buyers for premium money and get something that doesnt run on beta software. This damn car pissing me off.

Anyone heard of this shit?

For those of you who think im joking or dont believe me, here's a video of proof. The dealer is backed up for weeks to get in to see an SRT certified tech. What you see is me opening the completely cold car thats been sitting two days. When I get it with the key in pocket, hold the brake and press the button, the car starts but acts like I remote started it asking to press the brake and the start button again. I tried it a few times, no change pressing the button with the brake on.

Only putting it in reverse kicks it into the normal mode(not remote started). This is very strange and is the 4th time its happened in a few weeks. Any thoughts would be appreciated.

Not with this car specifically but I know a few ppl having issues with electronics on 2021 vehicles. My father just got a 21 f150 and had it back to the dealer a handful of times. They told him there was an issue with "chip shortages". I've heard that before pertaining to other equipment in my business. But what does that mean? Do they put in sub par shit just to get vehicles out the door? Idk. Generacs been sending me generators with a little IOU under the hood promising to send the chip i paid for one day. Maybe. Probably not

I had that exact same issue, only 1 time though, on my '21 HC Challenger. Still dealing with an issue of Remote Start shutting off automatically about once every 5 starts.
Does the car sit? Mine does that too, seems to be after the car sits for a more than a couple of days. Otherwise it seems to remote start ok. I haven't gotten the chance to check mine though.

had my car do this once or twice but when mine did it, the car was already remote started. Then I got in to start it and take off and when I hit the start button, it acted like it was still in remote start mode. It was weird. Hadn't happened since but I haven't driven it much.

A low battery that is low but not too low to start the car, will allow the car to remote start but then die a few seconds later. Reason is after it starts the car runs through a quick check of things and if there's anything it doesn't like, it will stop the engine. This is remote start only, with a manual start it would otherwise keep running. So put your battery on a slow overnight charge and problem should be solved.
