You will need to go into the Performance Pages and do that.

There are no programmable steering wheel buttons. Not sure if you read that somewhere? There arent physical button drive modes other than the SRT button on the dash. That button will get you directly to the Performance Pages. Or you can access them from an icon on your radio. From there you can configure your drive mode settings including a Custom mode as well. You can hit the SRT button twice to go directly into Custom mode after every start. That’s what I do.

After doing some more research, i guess adding three new buttons on the steering wheel and programming them is the best solution.
Please post if you do. Curious to see what you come up with. As far as I know it's not something that can be programmed. Those blanks are for adaptive cruise on the lower models that the RE doesnt get. Def curious to see how you make out.

I think the Hellcat Durango and Trackhawk have the adaptive cruise too.

I still have the tazer I bought for my 2017, I'll need a double bypass, but is there really any need for one on the newer cars anymore? Memory seats are in. Redeye performance pages has all the goodies. other than the silly light show, there really isn't a reason to have one is there?

Only extra features would be: flashing third brake light when braking, customize third brake light flash pattern, force track, custom, sport or default drive mode at startup, In a Hellcat or Trackhawk, change the key level. Choices are: Auto (No change) Red (Red Key Mode) Black (Black Key Mode) Valet (Valet Key Mode) The Tazer can open and close the windows for the front doors remotely. The doors need to be closed for it to operate. Tap once, then hold the unlock button for the windows to roll down. Tap the lock button 6 times for the windows to roll up That's about it

I don't think my old tazer will work. Plus I'll need a double bypass, I forgot about the auto settings. I kind of hated having to reset my modes to custom every time I got in the car.

I ended up making myself a small board which connects to obd/can and can read any of the buttons on the car.

Plan is to use it to to mute my radar detector and jammer using the car's oem buttons and display info on the instrument cluster display. Currently I have the three cruise control buttons mapped to the three relays.

If anyone else is interested, I can design a full, proper PCB and put a small batch together.

Are the steering wheel buttons on the 21 Redeye programmable?

I would like to program my drive modes from the steering wheel, is this possible?
So I had the Tazer burn box and aux buttons on my 2018 HC and used one button for line lock and a second one for the race cool down …. I really liked it and kinda miss it since I bought a 2019 HCRE.
To me it was so much easier to use the line lock with the taser , just my opinion.
I made the mistake of taking the Taser and button kit off my 2018 HC and selling it because I didn’t think I would use it since the RE had line lock and cool down already.I wish I had kept it now.
