it doesn’t take 7 days, the website isn’t accurate…about 4hrs start to finish
100% accurate! That 7 days is computer update times and once scheduled it might take a few days before it hits the line but once it goes through body, paint and assembly it’s a total of a couple hours per vehicle.

It does not take a couple of hours/4. From the time it starts at the beginning as just a frame until the time it rolls of the line as a customer ready car is about 24hrs.

I'm not talking about elapsed time, I'm talking about actual build time. Station times added up for build time so yes it is about 1 day for it to be complete but it is in that station for 38 seconds, this weld station for 55 seconds etc, etc

literally one of the most bullshit, ridiculous responses to save face that I have read in a long time. You said, "it might take a few days before it hits the line but once it goes through body, paint and assembly it’s a total of a couple hours per vehicle." That's not what you meant, and that's not what the conversation was, so stop.

Wow, don't get so bent out of shape! So WHAT did I mean???? The conversation did go in the time to build direction...so I don't see the issue.
Nothing in there about saving face, no bullshit to my statement either. It does take at least a few days minimum from being scheduled to actually start being built!? Total build time for each vehicle is only a couple hours when you add up station times.
You can get all high and mighty about my statements and that's cool. You don't know me or what I do so we'll just leave it at that.
Have a wonderful day good sir!

Ok I called a few people and asked I'm partially right but paint process takes longer than I thought, so it's still about one day TOTAL start to finish but the build time is more like 6-8 hrs of assembly work. My bad I apologize for being off.
Still, have a great day! Remember we drive Hellcats, and that is what matters!!

1. You're still trying really hard to make up for the original comment you made that didn't mean what you are telling us it was supposed to mean. No one talks in regard to aggregate individual time on task per station, when referring to "actual build time". Again, stop. TOTAL Build time from a bunch of parts to a final product is about 24hrs. And hmmm, that sounds like what you "just made some calls about and confirmed".
2. I see you just joined recently. FYI, there are a lot of smart folks here who've been here a lot longer than you, owned multiple SRTs/HCs, and have access to high level information. 😉

I made no comments, claimed to be an expert or said I know anything specifically about Hellcats/SRTs so don’t think I’m saying anything like that at all.

I’ve been around and worked in factories my entire life and believe it or not I can admit if I’m wrong, which I already said I was partially wrong on physical assembly hours! I always agreed 100% that total time from start to finish is right about a day (23-25hrs) and you can read all my posts in this thread I NEVER claimed otherwise.

I did a long stint in plastic injection molding and everything going by individual cycle time so sorry if that’s the way I think about a process.

I do think you’ve read way more deeply into my comments than they were meant to be taken.

Anyways take it for what you will but as I said before, it’s still a beautiful day to be alive and I can’t wait for my SS to arrive any time now. Then I’ll have my own HC then maybe the next day I can be an expert on Hellcats;)

I just wish the upfitter, shipping and delivery time would match the build time. All of us waiting would be happier.
