Dodge has suspended new orders to catch up on the extensive backlog of existing orders. Only the first bullet applies. I'm not sure if this is new today or yesterday, but here it is direct from the dealer ordering system:

That notice does not apply to jailbreak. At least not as of right now... Fingers crossed, my order went in yesterday. I have a von but no vin yet.
I have to wonder WHY??? So what if there is a backlog, that is a good thing for a seller.
UNLESS: There are so many outstanding orders that Dodge is concerned they may not be able to make enough to fill outstanding orders before the platform ends?
OR: Maybe they want to stop selling at current prices and will come out with new "market" prices when production catches up. Maybe soon the Dodge build site will not show actual dollar amounts and just say "market".
I was worried about all this kind of crap last fall which is why I got my order in earlier than planned.

I ordered a Jailbreak on December 27th and I STILL have NO VIN.
The dealer I took the photo from was led to believe by his area manager that ordering for 2022 is likely to be closed as they have so many orders, they don't want a repeat of last year and have to cancel sold orders. So, if you don't have an order now, chances are fairly high that ordering is nixxed in favor of the JB orders... until they cancel those too. As of right now, they're not.I have to wonder WHY??? Considering that there's a LOT of people who placed JB orders prior to the new year still don't have VINs, the chances are high that you won't see a VIN before July or August.
Placed my order for 22 S/S on the 4th of March, its moved all the way to D status with a VON and a VIN, I'm glad I didn't wait any longer than I did.

I am glad my 22 challenger hellcat WB was built 3/6/22. I am waiting for ship. I got an ETA 4/13/22. I ordered mine 1/29/22. I am praying it gets here before I have shoulder sugery on 4/19/22. It is at Jefferson North Assembly Plant for shipment.
