The title says it all. I JUST installed 275/40-R20 Mickey Thompson ET Street S/S on my 2017 Charger Hellcat. I am running about 30psi on the street, but no idea what ballpark I should start at when I get to the dragstrip.

Your thoughts?

Start at 22 and work your way down .5 psi at a time until the traction feels right. Dont go below 14 iirc. You can write to MT and theyll tell you for sure. I found my ET Sreet Rs 305/45/17 likes 16-17 psi here in So FL.
Don't expect alot of strip performance out of 20" rims tho.

Absolutely worth it. Ran 10.92 with them, no weight reduction, bone stock, mounted on oem wheels.

Anything below 16 you risk blowing the tire. I run the lowest 18# but that is a cold track for a hero pass.
warmer 19-22.

I have ran 10.60's with the 20" SS, at 22psi. with good track prep. but they don't last long on double duty.
