While taking my 2012 Jeep Grand Cherokee to Allen Samuels Dodge in Houston for routine maintenance (until my Charger Hellcat is built), I noticed both a Charger Hellcat and Challenger Hellcat in the showroom. Since I originally went to this dealership in an attemt to order my Hellcat and being told that the dealer markup is $6000, I was curious as to what the going rate is. Keeping in mind that I refused to pay the $6000 markup and ordered from a different dealership, I was shocked to see that the markup is now $30,000 for the Charger and $33,140 for the Challenger!!! Absolutely ridiculous!! I guess the fact that the Mecum Auction was held across the street from the dealership has something to do with this.

NOT to be confused with Allen Samuels Katy, TX, this one posted by the OP is at 610 Loop in Houston, TX. I clarified with my sales rep at Katy location.

I like how even with the $30,000 markup they still have the balls to add "solar cooling" and "security package" bullshit as well. I'm sure there's a $1000 doc fee they'll add as well. Disgusting!

I can't wait for Tesla to burn these kind of dealers to the ground!

Do you have jeans with rivets. I'd go very close and get a good look at the window sticker. Hard to read the ADM with numbers so small LOL!

WOW. I guess they must think some desperate person with a ton of money will buy it and not care about the markup. I guess the potential to get that kind of markup is worth putting your reputation in the dumpster. I will never go there for any reason... Even parts. They probably add huge markup to that, too.

I think that I'm going to go there tomorrow and see if they will take a full cash offer. Then waist there time for a few hours and when we head to finance I will tell them I want all the stuff they got. tire and wheel package protection extend warranty. every !!!!!!!!!!!! do the paper work and when its time to pay I will reach into my back and pull out 120k plus in monopoly money.
By then the GM will be looking at his new rolex on line, and the sales manager should be buying his wife a new SUV.. :D:D:D:D

Doooooooo it :p:D

Only right to pay for a phony mark-up with phony $$.

Alternate idea is to wait to get to the finance guy, then say you were lying about the cash sale & need to be 100% financed.
Then ask if he thinks a FICO of 621 is going to be an issue !
