I have the opportunity to buy a Hellcat at 3K over sticker. Would anyone take the offer. Used hellcats are selling in the Dallas used car market for 68-72K used, or at least I am told that.

I wouldn't pay over sticker for a new car, and NEVER for a used one. But hey, that's just my opinion. Your mileage may vary.

Before dodge announced the price for these cars many were thinking msrp would start at 75k. Myself included. Offer what you feel it is worth. If that lines up with what they will sell it for then go for it.

If you can afford to do it, I probably would in your area. Not condoning over MSRP, but maybe you can negotiate down a little, get them to meet you half way at $1,500 and maybe walk out the door at $2,000 or $2,500 over???? Just a thought. Really depends on how bad you want it. I can't imagine it will be available too long for that.;)

Eyay just had a sublime sale end -reserve not met - 10 bids $74.6k
Geez, they are still up there a ways. I can't imagine what the greedy buggers had for reserve. Probably trying to call dude to sell on the side so no fees. Lets hope the over 4 days on the lot is true, that would have exceeded that time frame. I think the stinky dealers are getting over that by purchasing the car in the owners name.

I have seen numerous used Hellcats sell for more than $3K over sticker. So, unless you want to wait for possibly months, while devoted lots of hours to phone calls and emails, huntin' and peckin', looking for a 'better deal', only to finally find one hours away that you have to invest more time having shipped or at airports flying for pickup, I'd say jump on it.

lol I think I know who you bought from just from the markup amount and your location.....was it Allen Samuels in Katy? I almost went with him at 5K over and a small waitlist when I was calling around but the day before I was going to pull the trigger with a deposit I found 2 in Houston at MSRP (though I still don't have mine yet so you certainly win lol)

I think its getting to the point if you want one for summer you have to pay it. they don't look to be flying on the lots like some have said. people are getting sick of von hell and paying more. seems to be the norm now days.

I would go for it if it was the right one ( colors and options for me). Just keep in mind at some point they will go for under MSRP but that may not be until the next season or year. A few of the members here that got MSRP had dealer connections and made concessions.
