3K Over Sticker

I have the opportunity to buy a Hellcat at 3K over sticker. Would anyone take the offer. Used hellcats are selling in the Dallas used car market for 68-72K used, or at least I am told that.

most of your fellow HC brothers seem to be paying ADM still.......im glad to see its not $10k+ anymore....glad to see its down to $3k range

what i find funny is guys paying adm on ordered cars....i can see $3k adm on a car on the lot, but i dont understand paying just to order......
I paid an ADM on my ordered car. The price was OK for this market. I am next in line for the alloc. and I can walk right in to mgt.'s office...with lunch of course. Some dealers are asking 5K to place an order here in CA and there are many at 10K-20K over with cars on the lot. OK Huggy....does your crystal ball still say that MSRP on the lots will be common by this summer? I know you said previously that they are out there now, but seems like few and far between.Whats your forecast?
Tex-Wrong again. At least your consistent.
I worked smart before most folk. I placed calls and emails and worked my butt off- before order books opened. It's called homework! MSRP, I guess u could be right. I did pay my adm in effort. I was blessed to be able to find the time.

^^^ HuggyT, no, don't go there. Rich guys!? Class war bs dude! After all you are THE RICH GUY to most other folks. Jus say n.
i was kinda joking about the rich guys.......i am very well off(but i work my A** off to get it) i could pay double if i wanted to....the fact is i wont....id rather have that $3k-5k some of you are paying to go on a cruise or Disney....
^^^ folks make fun of me 'cus I don't have cable.. I shut it off years ago when I started my own thing. Some of us just choose to invest/spend elsewhere. I jus can't understand the "open season" on the so called RICH GUY.. Most who play that card can't even give you a definition of what rich is.

never said every car will be MSRP......and yes i still think most will be msrp by Summer

seems like 50% are already paying msrp now

when 4,000 are on the street is when i think the market will change......where are we at now???......cant count the 1000 sitting at Brampton or stuck for 4 weeks on a train

how many on the street now?? 2,000??

is it even 2,000?
anyone who owns a HC is a rich guy

100% of us

average people own a $10,000 used car

rich people own a $70,000 car

OK bro...love your positive enthusiasm. Hope it turns out as you predict. I do think that most getting MSRP are for cars being ordered. The vast majority on lots are still with an ADM. Can vary by market conditions. If I found something acceptable out of state, a little road trip would add to the experience. Now, what geographical locations do you predict that MSRP on the lot will occur? Don't say CA because then some folks will think you hit your head...lol
I would not but I'm old enough that NOTHING is "burning me up" at this point. Probably in my younger more stupid days I would have.
lol I think I know who you bought from just from the markup amount and your location.....was it Allen Samuels in Katy? I almost went with him at 5K over and a small waitlist when I was calling around but the day before I was going to pull the trigger with a deposit I found 2 in Houston at MSRP (though I still don't have mine yet so you certainly win lol)
Where did you find it at mrsp??
If a person is comfortable paying an ADM that's up to them. I paid about 4000$ over MSRP but didn't wait at all, am not waiting for VINs or VONs. I got the exact car I wanted with the options I wanted. Went to the dealer made the deal and drove home. That alone is worth money to me.
Where did you find it at mrsp??
Ron Carter in league city and tomball Dodge were selling at MSRP. Tomball was no deposit but had a list of 15 people. Ron Carter was a $5k deposit but I was 4th so I went with Ron Carter and my cat is scheduled for delivery next week

Are you buying the challenger or charger?

people are getting them off lots for msrp weekly, almost daily

its all going to be upper midwest where the snow is.....MI is a popular spot i keep seeing pop up...its where i found mine also....look for small dealerships in the middle of no where....where its still cold and snowy and they need to unload it

CA is where it will always probably be adm......we could go on for hours about CA and its issues

as far as the road trip? i drove from WI to NH to get my GT500...$150 plane ticket, $100 for meals, $120 for a hotel, $200+ for gas.....and i was home in 1.5 days....it was an adventure.....i paid way under msrp for that one...

my HC was in MI, so it was only a 3.5 hour ride....seems like the common theme lately is finding a canceled order that came in....tons of us here ordered from 2-3 dealerships....which means 1-2 cars being delivered w/o an owner.....i see posts daily about one for msrp here........

color is the biggie....pick a odd color and your going to be stuck with an adm.....pick sublime like me(most popular color) and your odds are very good.....pick silver, and expect to sit or pay adm

i think people call around once, find all at $10k adm and give up......i recommend targeting a few salesman which seem receptive and call them weekly.....offer msrp over and over.....never $1 more..........i found dealerships who told me they will never consider anything less than $10k adm....just tell them off and to go to hell....tell them people are buying at MSRP daily and they are out of touch..depending on their answer call them weekly to offer msrp
See less See more

Who? Show us your evidence. Show us 10 people who've bought off the lot in the last 3 weeks here who have paid MSRP.
i see a post almost daily here

some may be ordered cars, but not all of them......i think 50% are paying msrp from what i see
my evidence is my crystal ball and my crack cocaine high

ive seen msrp posts from before i got mine 1-1-15

i see people listing HC's for msrp sitting at dealerships waiting for a buyer almost daily they ran across

Now it's some may be ordered cars? you said, and have been saying, off the lot.

I've read you typing this long enough. Stop spinning the same yarn. Start showing proof. Show names of people who have BOUGHT OFF THE LOT AT MSRP like you keep telling people. you just said you seem them daily so it should be easy to put together 10 names fairly quickly.
Add me, 1k below MSRP.
i will start a part time job for free and keep track of each purchase for you.

are you saying you dont see any posts of msrp purchases or people finding a car sitting on the lot for msrp waiting for a buyer daily here? (i think i saw 2 posts yesterday of people giving opportunities for msrp for free)

the main thing i keep telling people is to stop paying ADM.....this will bring the price down for everyone

50% ?? Reference? How are u computing UR stats? Dude. There are not that many on lot cars that are selling at MSRP . You say U see it on this forum "daily" well I see the exact opposite I see people payin adm "daily"
if that were true most here posting wouldnt be feeling good......i paid msrp...i feel great.....i think msrp is a rip off.....id prefer to pay a normal price (-$3k off msrp)....i feel a bit gouged just paying msrp.....

lots of rich guys here that want the car at any price and dont want to wait or put extra effort into finding msrp
I am not rich by any means........But I paid 5K over in SoCal because by the time I paid for all of the costs associated with going out of California to get one at MSRP I spent that 5K............Any more than 5K I would have not purchased the car from a local dealer.........

In Denver for work-SNA to DEN 608.00 was the plane ticket.........Hotel Room 149.00 per night
In Dallas Next week ONT to DFW 835.00 was the plane ticket.......Hotel Room 159.00 per night
And no it was not First Class.......Company pays for Coach Only...........
