OK bro...love your positive enthusiasm. Hope it turns out as you predict. I do think that most getting MSRP are for cars being ordered. The vast majority on lots are still with an ADM. Can vary by market conditions. If I found something acceptable out of state, a little road trip would add to the experience. Now, what geographical locations do you predict that MSRP on the lot will occur? Don't say CA because then some folks will think you hit your head...lol
people are getting them off lots for msrp weekly, almost daily
its all going to be upper midwest where the snow is.....MI is a popular spot i keep seeing pop up...its where i found mine also....look for small dealerships in the middle of no where....where its still cold and snowy and they need to unload it
CA is where it will always probably be adm......we could go on for hours about CA and its issues
as far as the road trip? i drove from WI to NH to get my GT500...$150 plane ticket, $100 for meals, $120 for a hotel, $200+ for gas.....and i was home in 1.5 days....it was an adventure.....i paid way under msrp for that one...
my HC was in MI, so it was only a 3.5 hour ride....seems like the common theme lately is finding a canceled order that came in....tons of us here ordered from 2-3 dealerships....which means 1-2 cars being delivered w/o an owner.....i see posts daily about one for msrp here........
color is the biggie....pick a odd color and your going to be stuck with an adm.....pick sublime like me(most popular color) and your odds are very good.....pick silver, and expect to sit or pay adm
i think people call around once, find all at $10k adm and give up......i recommend targeting a few salesman which seem receptive and call them weekly.....offer msrp over and over.....never $1 more..........i found dealerships who told me they will never consider anything less than $10k adm....just tell them off and to go to hell....tell them people are buying at MSRP daily and they are out of touch..depending on their answer call them weekly to offer msrp
