shopping around to get my vehicles clear bra'd and hear xpel is better?

true or false?

for those who have wrapped your HC's front end....how much?

I put Xpel on my Shelby and was entirely satisfied. I entend to use the same product, Xpel Ultimate, on the Hellcat. Not cheap, but it does the job that it is intended to do, protect the paint surface from rock and sand damage.

Xpel is a brand. I've had mine done (Xpel) front end, outside mirrors, behind front and rear wheels. and I am very pleased. I never considered covering the entire car but I don't live in a bad weather state. I also had a non-xpel product put on my 08 in Jul of 08 and it's still perfect today.

Going to do my front end soon with Xpel, was quoted 495 and he will throw in the headlights as a bonus. (This is post 1000 for me, yippee)

I've seen the clear bra last week you sure can see where the material ends on the hood.. And I saw some air bubbles... I've never seen the xpel Anyone have any pics??

Bobby, with an experienced installer, the Xpel product is only detectable if you view the edge from certain light angles.

Cool thanks for the info JBS$ !! My dealership is offering the clear bra for like 1700 bucks and when I saw it I wasn't too impressed I'm interested in the x pel and how it looks..

I will be posting a big thread regarding this. Xpel is superior, according to two separate installers. NOT cheap.
The entire nose (full bumper, full hood, full fenders, full mirrors) was $2K materials and instal which took almost the whole day alone.

I got the front end done on my cat with mirrors and door handle pockets + headlights with Xpel Ultimate, 10 year warranty price was 1,995 but got a car club discount and a military discount so 1,600 out the door

so far, the clear bras I have seen look horrible...as in, I can tell it has a bra. I don't want to be able to see it so I never even considered getting it put on. Those who get them installed, lots of pics please...thank you

quoted $850 for xpel just for the grill and front bumper........and he told me that was a special price because he knows i have 2 more care that need it

cant get another quote....no one else wants my business

I just got clear bra on front 1/3 of hood,front bumper and you can see where it stops.I am going to give it a couple weeks to see if it looks better after it cures,if not I will get it done all the way to the doors.I don't think you can stop in the middle of a flat surface without some visible signs.On the other hand,the cQuartz finest is crazy good on the car!

I met a guy who does it for the local dealers in Waukesha, He would come to your house and do it for cash if you have a nice heated garage with good lighting. he also tints windows. ( I have not seen his work but I would try him on the truck then go from there). He owns his company. works a lot for Wilde.

thanks....i already have the appointment with a guy in Greenfield, WI....right now its for my new truck and not my HC.......
my truck barely fits in the garage, so he wouldnt be able to work around it

Let me know how he does we can compare prices I have to get my 3500 done and may consider the Shelby and or the Hellcat. I have played a lot of hockey with the guy but I have not seen his work but he is a real good guy and any time I can get something at cost its a good thing.

Have not done it myself yet. Still contemplating. However, the shop in my town offers an online tool for cost on a lot of different vehicles. Shops around the country will differ but it might give you some idea what you are looking at.
