For some reason I must remove the forced induction unit from my engine (regulations)
Its not enough to just remove the rotors inside the compressor, I need N/A intake

Anyone know If 6.4 og 6.1 intake will fit? Are the heads really that different?
Or I must make a adapter plate to make this happen

I live in Norway, the land of regulations, next to north-korea.
I want to have a hellcat engine in my -68 charger, but regulations only allow me 272hp per 1000kg car.
So I can have the 6.4l but not the 707hp hellcat installed.
How are you regulations in the US? so much power you want?

6.4 bolt right on, nice to hear that. Then I will put on this then get the car approved, then later change back to SC

Not sure you are looking at just a simple bolt on with the 6.4 intake. It’ll take some electronics magic to get the intake to communicate with your engine and the variable length runner valves.

Sky is the limit for H.P. here in the states.

Here’s a look inside that 6.4 intake and the runner valves...

The answer is simple. Put in a Hellcat engine and have a custom two-stage tune that redlines at 2500 RPM if you have a hidden switch in one position, and has max RPM if you flip it the other way.

DONE.

Or how about limiting the HP by using the black key?

The 6.4 intake will not bolt on to the Hellcat heads, similar to how the Hellcat Supercharger will not bolt on to the 6.4 heads. An adapter is needed. MMX performance makes than adapter for the Hellcat supercharger to 6.4 head, so they may have the reserve for your situation.

Does Norway dyno test the vehicle to determine the HP or is it visual (or both). If it’s only based on dyno numbers, then why not use the black key? If 500hp is still too high, then de-tune the black key tune to whatever HP level you need (say 450)? Then use the red key when desired.

If it was so easy as detune the engine I would do that. I could even remove the rotors from the SC.
But as long as the papers for the original engine shows 707hp thats what they look at.
485hp from the 6.4 is ok. In other words I have to fool them to believe I have the 6.1 or 6.4

Ok, som just tap and drill the heads? there is room for this new bolt pattern?

Yes there is room. Im running 6.2 heads in my 2010 6.1 car that has a kenne bell 4.2 blower kit origanally designed for a 6.1. So i could run either a 6.2 blower or go back to a 6.1 intake to run a turbo setup which maybe in my future for this car.
