From what I have seen, stock Automatic hellcats are about 8.1 and I would assume manual to be 8.3

 

Mine . And it’s still slow

Looks like you were figuring it out. That is a very stout time you are running. Low 6 second is beating lots of supercars and sports cars. Once you get into the high 5’s you are now running against sport bikes and stomping most everything. Low 5’s and you are darn near untouchable unless whatever your running is highly modified.

Keep it up man.

I would also think your shift is slowing you by at least .2-.4 seconds as the A8 just shifts faster.

 

What’s your 0 to 100 on the street? Are u in the 6s or low 7s?

 

I had some great conditions in a Redeye early last Monday morning, DA was about 1500'. I looked at a few laps for 60-130 mph. Best a stock RE is about 9.7 sec! I had to do some math, because the only spot I can get a 60-130 is between laps, but I think I did it right, I looked at about six combos. Lots of high nines.

That number sounds high, what speed are you starting from?

My estimate for a redeye should be 7.6 - 7.8

 

Maybe I have a slow one. I sampled several laps on a road course. For the hell of it, I just timed it manually watching the video. Get upper nines. Looked at the old Hellcat videos also just to check, manual timed one lap at nine and another at 9.5 seconds. Same two cars blow away about every Corvette and any other car up this straight. You are flying!

 

Maybe because I am easing into it at the 60mph coming out of a corner, we have the couple second problem?? It is not a WOT at 60, it takes a few to get it open and confident we are not going to turn it to spinning gunk as we need to go over the starting line at BIR and up the straight.

 

Yeah I think it’s something like that. It’s hard to judge it based of a video and just trying to time it.

Make a clean it with a recording device and check it. I would say high 7’s for sure.

9seconds think about 1/4 mile times. If you high 9’s from 60-130 then just add the 0-60 from the hit and you got a 1/4 mile time.

Your a solid 11 to high 10 second car. So do the math.

Temperatures were down a little bit the other morning to 70 degrees and I dropped a little bit more to 6.5 seconds 60-130 mph.

I also ran into a whipple 5.0 and put 3 cars on him so good morning.

6.5 is flying, especially for a manual. My FBO E85 tuned Nissan GT-R did a best 6.67 60-130 mph in pretty cold weather.

Maybe it is just a bad time of year being the summer. I did almost all of my 60-130 mph testing when the weather got cold to ensure optimal conditions.

Here is a quick 60-120 I got. On a closed course.

 

0-130 basically. 11.7 seconds. Stock HC Charger just wheels 10.5 all around and Wider Michelin ps4s. None prepped, flat street surface about 88 degrees outside. We are at about 300 feet above sea level in bucks county. And 0-100 one of my best on the street.. 7.5.. I do a little one second and a half roll out before I get into it. That’s my little trick.. no pre burnout (this time hehe).. tires at 34 psi warmed up. Also I always shift the car Manually in M mode with shifters. 1st gear I usually click off around 4000rpm.. then blast 2nd once you hit 18-24 mph. This may sound silly to some but I can get faster more controlled consistent times this way. In the 0-100 dept.

Lmao. Wow you toyed that guy. I had to go back to catch you were doing 123 to his 141 or something. The camera pans back when your done the 2nd half the stretch. You went from 123 to 183. In the top end. Impressive. What gears are you running whip? .262 or .309? I assume the .262 with all that power doing the mile..

During the video I was running 3.09 gears. I’m running the 2.62 now.

It’s funny I never noticed the other speeds I didn’t know that was us, it was probably our 1/4 mile trap or something. I thought it was the cars that went before us.

Traction is always so hard to achieve.

The other thing in the video is technically we were supposed to start from a 40 roll and then punch it at the cones. I did that and started at 40, the lambo left early and still got smoked.

Hey gents, in the name of keeping this thread alive, I did some 60-130 runs in my 2019 Hellcat Redeye with a Demon Race PCM installed on 100 Octane and got a 7.2 . So for those of you wondering what a Demon would do 60-130 this is a great idea.

 

Here's my most recent. Car definitely has more in it. It was in good DA but with some serious negative DA and a dead hook I'm sure I could shave a cpl tenths.
