It has been seven months since I ordered my hellcat at the end of September.
It's now May 15 and still no car.
Of course I had to order the Black hood which put behind 3 to 4 months.
All the inspections have passed and the car is being delivered into Birmingham Alabama. It was supposed to be delivered on March 18th, obviously that did not happen.
They then gave me an ETA of April 1, that did not happen. the final ETA was today, April 15th, that did not happen.
Now they tell me it won't be in until Monday the 20th
Are you freaking kidding me!!!!!!
First it was the black hood, then the fuel line, now the radiator hose clamp.
I would think that Chrysler, Fiat, SRT could get their crap together and deliver a $70,000 car to there buyers.
This waiting has been very frustrating and an emotional roller coaster of disappointment with Chrysler and SRT.
I do feel very blessed to be on the list to have one of these cars.
However,
I hope to never have to buy another product from Chrysler SRT or Fiat ever again.
Has anyone else been as frustrated?
At this point, I'm almost tempted to order 2016 and maybe by January or February of next year I might get my car.

I feel for those of you that have waited that long. I really hate it for those who still don't even have a VIN and ordered that long ago. I'd be ecstatic to just be waiting on delivery.

I ordered on day 1, 9/9, and I know the pain of the shipping process. Mine was built Dec 1 and it didn't get delivered to the dealer until Jan 8. The bad part of that was that it sat in a rail/truck yard 80 miles from my dealer for 8 DAYS because Chrysler decided to change trucking companies at the end of the year and no amount of phone calls or offers to pick it up myself made a difference. Talk about fuming!

However, once you sit in her for the first time and feel her power, all of your frustrations will fade away and you'll know it was all worth it.

Ordered mine October 2nd... still don't even have a VIN.
Glad you are on what seems the final stretch to get your car, though. Grats for that!:)

At least your car is built. Be thankful for that!! Besides, when you get to drive it the first time, every second you waited will seem worth it.

I would be excited... many are still in VON hell. I'm frustrated and tired of waiting...

I have a VIN and hope to be in D1 status soon. Once I'm at D1, I'll be able to relax... at this point, I still may not get my car.

You opened the door here for me Bud. I actually sent another email to Tim K again today with no response. I put $5k down on August 7. I finally got a VIN Jan 26. It took until March 31 to build it after several delays and missed dates. Now It sits, passed inspections in J status for over 2 weeks with no projection for shipping. They have absolutely no clue what they are doing over there. No wonder they went bankrupt. How can a company like this, still be in business. Upper and middle management have no clue what customer service is. They cannot give an educated guess as to when a car will proceed through it's different stages. I am so frustrated but I am beyond the point of bailing now. I should have done it in January. I am pissed that so many cars were delivered weeks and months ago when ordered after November. Don't get me wrong I am extremely happy for the people that already have theirs. But supposedly FCA wanted to make this right back in Jan. to get the cars out to people that ordered at the beginning. That was a total BS game and they did none of that. I so want to rip the dealers and the SRT Team but I know it is not their fault that they don't have info. How can an order go in at the end of December, get built 2 weeks after mine, and be in a customers hands for 2 days already, while mine sits in a yard somewhere with pigeons crapping on it!? I am furious. I get this from SRT team. "Did you order the black hood? No. Well the other cars must have different options if they got delivered first." There is only 7 different options! And 3500 cars have been delivered before mine! If FCA monitors this forum, which I highly doubt, otherwise they would attempt to do something, show your customers you give a damn about them, and attempt to make things right. Chrysler you suck!!! You will never give the big 2 any competition with this wonderful customer service!!

mark wizgen I will say this. Once you get your Hellcat you will understand this statement: "The Hellcat is worth a year wait"

All your aggravation will immediately leave your body in one fell swoop as soon as you see it and know its yours. I won't even mention how you'll feel once you drive. it off the lot for the first time.

Tell you what, if after 5 minutes of driving it around you don't say " this was so worth the wait" I'll create a thread telling everyone I was wrong :)

There's nothing like a Hellcat and this is a fact...you'll soon find that out. Hang tight its coming ;)

Mark, please relax,, my car was built oct 15,, got delivered dec 5,, and my car was less then five miles from were I live, and less then that from the dealer,, no amount of words can describe what the feeling will be like when you get the call from the dealer saying your car is here,, and when you arrive at the dealer to see your car, with your name on the window sticker, what ever is going on in the world won't matter,, the only thing that you will see, and think about is driving your hellcat...your going to be very very happy,, and all this will never bother you again..good luck my friend,, please relax..

Are you posting from the future?

But seriously I don't know how you've managed. I would have cancelled by now. I was more or less a month from order date to taking delivery and it drove me nuts.

I hope it gets here soon before you have an aneurism.
