I read somewhere here in fact that after 2019, the actual horsepower is @745, with the bump from the electronic power steering, the new hood, and some other change that I don’t recall. Even at that though, it’s just not a huge difference in 700+hp cars that are challenged, no pun intended, with traction. Two square off and it’ll be a race decided by driver skill.

I thought it was the new hood and intake design on the 2019s and up but I’m sure someone here will pipe up.
Yeah that’s how Dodge marketed it. We debunked that for the most part. The RE came out and it was 797hp. Then the SS came out and it was 807. Same engine, same hood, same intake, same electronic steering. We noticed the claimed hp was listed at a slightly higher red line which is obviously in the tune.
Marketing.
