Now that Good Year bought out Mickey Thompson what do you think is gonna change w the drag radials?

Our 3880 fronts now have no production date scheduled and minimal orders placed. Good year strait out discontinued most of the big Pro radials soon as they took ownership. Dunno what the 6 second guys are gonna do.

I wonder what other changes are around the corner?

Last summer.

Mickey Thompson has been part of Cooper Tires for 20 years and in June of 2021, Goodyear acquired Cooper Tires for $2.8 billion.

Hunh. Might explain why I had to wait 8 months for 28x11.5 bias plys.

I think our fronts are prolly history

I JUST gave up n ordered M&H 28/4.5/18 from Jegs. They aren’t radials so wondering how that’s gonna work with 3580 rear????? (Not a fan of the Mickey sportsman fronts)

I’ve done this the other way around in the past but never had bias ply on front n radial in back. Have any of you?

Yeah i think it's the reverse that causes issues, full size radials up front and bias plys in the rear.
