2018 Widebody- I recently replaced the condenser and recharged the the system using the 1234yf freon. The car was blowing good cold air for about 2 weeks then one day out of no where it cut out and has been blowing nothing but hot air. Any thoughts on this or what it could be? A friend of mine said it shouldn't be the compressor he thinks its an senor out on the a/c line itself. I'm not sure but if I cant figure it out within a couple of days ill take it to the dealer..any help would greatly appreciated

Dealer?!?!? Throw a charge on it and see if it gets cold.

100% Put gauges on it and see the pressures. If you don't have gauges and the know how to use them take it to a shop to have tested. Worst thing you can do to an AC is just add more freon to the system. Newer cars are VERY sensitive to pressures and overcharge very easily.

If pressures are good and compressor isn't turning on I'd test the pressure sensors next. Never worked on a challenger AC but would assume they have a low and high side sensor like most cars.

Did you pull vacuum on it before recharging? Moisture is a bad thing in AC systems....

Check the ac lines, are they freezing cold? If you are sure the ac is working properly, then it points to the heater control valve. It could be stuck open letting hot coolant into the heater core thereby defeating the ac.

So I found out it was the compressor.. installed another and added 1234yf.. driver side got somewhat cold and the passenger side was still blowing heat .. idk what this could be

Wonder if your old compressor sent metal shards through your system. Or could also be an actuator preventing a door to operate in the dash on the right side.

FIXED! Compressor was shot bought a brand new one now it’s cold as the North Pole in here lol thank you guys!!

Yes and I not sure why because I paid a lot of money for that thing but it wasn’t u see warranty so I had no choice but to get another
