Simply curious, when adding front skinnies and removing passenger/rear seats, how many tenths do those two modifications alone shave off at the track in general?

Do you feel a noticeable difference at the track when adding skinnies and removing passenger/rear seats or not really?

if you are really racing for times and want to win, everything helps...if you are just having fun at the track, don't bother

The skinnies will get you a just under a tenth gain. As far as removing seats I only have done the rear for a 40+/- lbs saving.
So the 2 together maybe a little over a tenth.
Now this is my experience with my car and you will get many say otherwise.
I have run with stock and skinnies on the same day quite a few times. And on average say 3 passes to 3 passes the gains are a bit less than a tenth every time.
The passenger seat I don't remove as that disables air bags.
The rear seat removed at the track was about .02 on average the three times I did that.
Still any gain is a bonus, a 10.5x sounds better than a 10.6x .😉

Nice, thanks for sharing, as you mentioned others experiences may vary. So it seems like in your experience the skinnies at best maybe a tenth alone if not just slightly under.

When you removed the rear seats it was 2 tenths alone or in combination of the skinnies as well?

Correct me if I'm wrong but when you added skinnies plus the removal of rear seats was at best a total of 3 tenths shaved off if not atleast 2 tenths?

No not 2 tenths for the 40lbs. More like an average of 2 hundredths. So a tenth or a little better for both.
A bunch of small things do add up though.

You can’t just say ‘skinnys’…

Lite wheels ($1000+) are worth more than my heavy ass Chinese wheels ($100)

3880 mt et R front was made for our heavy cars but is no longer available. Which tire are you talking about? I have heard people say their car slowed down running the m&h tire I run. Slowed down swapping out 20” 275 for them. Which tire n which wheel?

The seats are what they are. Take em out n weigh em and search for formula and see how little it’s worth. It’s math

I think they say about a tenth for every 100lbs? though I dont think thats 100% accurate.

I spreadsheet all my runs and have my PB's at full weight with the stock 275's up front and in very similar DA (though I always run a lithium battery which only weighs 5lbs) vs pulling the seats, trunk weight etc. I have never run smaller tires up front though will probably give them a try at some point.
