I have a 2016 hellcat challenger with AFE intake, I believe # 51-12802. This is the only model I've found and I have no original paperwork. The original filter # is 21-91068, stamped on the filter. I ordered the same part number replacement filter . My issue is the filter fitment. When I slip the new filter onto the inlet tube it is a loose fit, maybe an 1/8 inch gap all the way around. The holding clamp has no problem clamping it tight but it seems odd to me that it's not a nice snug fit before clamping. The original filter is a snugger fit but I'm sure years of being on there has given it a "memory". Has any body with the AFE intake noticed this ? Is it normal? The 17's thru 20's have a different intake number but show the same filter number. I'm pretty certain I have the correct filter But IDK? Called Afe several times but no answer. Any input would be appreciated!

Thanks for the reply. AFE did get back to me via e-mail and said the same, and also said my fitment sounded normal but if I liked I could send them some pics to confirm fitment. Probably will just to make sure it wasn't a manufacturing defect.
