Will be interesting to see the aftermarket catch up and come out with more options like the air filter for the HC.. Personally, I will never use a K&N.

Thats one reason! I had one in a diesel truck that didn't filter well and sucked in dirt. Destroyed a turbo.. Again, I know they are popular, just something I won't use lol.

Few hundred miles on the Challenger with no issues, K&N. Threw one on the Charger this weekend, too.

Thanks for your input TSC. Do you have any concern with the fact that the K&N filter is oiled? I only ask because of a previous thread that you and huggytree were a part of where zazoo stated that SRT techs advised against.

As long as you don't over oil the K&N type filters (most people do) you won't have any problems.

As usual, I'm the odd man out. I'll stick with the OE paper filter. The OE media is a great filter and the 2.4L vacuum cleaner on the top of the motor will pull in plenty of fresh air as needed.

Any noticeable performance improvement? And part number if handy please.
Let's say you got 5HP (which I highly doubt). I'm pretty sure you are not going to notice (seat of the pants) a 5HP gain on a car that makes 707HP unless your ass is calibrated with some very special instrumentation

The AEM filter is dry for all that want that and I will try it. Did you see the video rayzazoo posted? I attached it and watch the RPM's climb faster. Factory filter will not be in my car. Thanks again ray!

Nothing significant but the mileage seems to be improved and the supercharger whine is a bit louder. K&N part number is 33-2460.

I'm not too concerned and if there are any issues I can always put the stock filter back in. I wiped off the filter before putting it in the car. It is not excessively oiled.

I have the Green Filter in my Cat and I am fine with it. I have used K&N in the past without any problems either. The reason I Picked Green for the second time, I noticed it seems to have even less oil on it then K&N. But its like tsc says its all about the re oiling.

How I found Green Filter Is, I ordered an Arrington Performance cold air intake for my last car a 2014 392 SRT Core Challenger and it came with the Green Filter.

Arrington Performance out of VA. is known for there work on Mopars and Hemis. If they send it with there intake system I believe it is good for me also.
