Because it's an oiled filter? Will be interesting to see the aftermarket catch up and come out with more options like the air filter for the HC.. Personally, I will never use a K&N.

Appreciate the input for sure.Thats one reason! I had one in a diesel truck that didn't filter well and sucked in dirt. Destroyed a turbo.. Again, I know they are popular, just something I won't use lol.
Thanks for your input TSC. Do you have any concern with the fact that the K&N filter is oiled? I only ask because of a previous thread that you and huggytree were a part of where zazoo stated that SRT techs advised against.Few hundred miles on the Challenger with no issues, K&N. Threw one on the Charger this weekend, too.
True...thanks again.I'm not too concerned and if there are any issues I can always put the stock filter back in. I wiped off the filter before putting it in the car. It is not excessively oiled.
That's a great video. AEM is on the list. The AEM filter is dry for all that want that and I will try it. Did you see the video rayzazoo posted? I attached it and watch the RPM's climb faster. Factory filter will not be in my car. Thanks again ray!
