rear main seal is leaking and oil is seeping out of the oil pan gasket at the rear of the block. So I get to pull the transmission, flywheel, supercharger, lift up the engine and do the rear main seal and oil pan gasket. Can’t go down the track like that, so have to take care of it
This will be the 2nd time I’ve done the rear main. Didn’t do the trans pan gasket last time, I think that has something to do with it. Most of the oil pan bolts are stupid torque to yield, so I didn’t loosen the oil pan to install rear main seal, then put rtv and torque oil pan against it because I didn’t have 19 new bolts. And yes, I snapped one before
