AMSOIL Oil Filter Experts

I was watching some more Engine Masters episodes from 2016 and 2017, when Amsoil was their sponsor. Back then, they had white spin-on oil filters, with the nut on the bottom, and AMSOIL on the side. A few years later they tested oil filters and since then they have had K&N oil filters on their engines, and no more AMSOIL ones. Funny, both looked the same though. When I looked them up, I can only find the black Amsoil filters, and not the big white ones with the nut on the bottom. Think it's connected?
